Educational Dream

Everyone wants to make the most money in the shortest amount of time. Some people right after high school, go to work on the oil rigs, construction, or even fast food. Jobs that can make them the most money the fastest with the skills that they bring to the table. Most times these jobs often make it so that the person can make a living off of it, but the extras a person has such as a retirement may or may not exist without a college education due to the fact that you won’t make enough. My personal decision to go back to school was based on being able to make more money to be able to secure a retirement, till Sheridan College obtained a symphony, and to be able to do the job I actually want to do for my life not what I have to do.
When trying to start my own life working as a paint mixer and as a landscaper up in Oregon with no college education, right out of high school. Since there was no level of higher education under my belt all I was able to make was eleven dollars an hour with no overtime allowed mainly due to the fact I had to go …show more content…

People that work those kind of jobs are people that “work hard but play harder” kind of guys. Every day after work everyone would just go start drinking mainly because there not doing what they feel like they should do for their life. Always bouncing back to forth from job to job, whatever they can find they will work it. This type of lifestyle didn’t sit well with me for the main reason being I want to play music for the rest of my life not working so hard I just break my body over and over to try and live a life, then having to be “forced” retired due to not being able to work cause of hurting too much. Even if the job that I want doesn’t make me much more than what I was making before, the key to happiness is through doing what you enjoy and not what makes the most
