Amidst the school kids and the naked bum, there is a toilet. The free-standing, self-cleaning, public restroom installed by JCDecaux Company only costs a quarter. If you can stomach the sight of the remnants of human excrement and the pungent odor of fecal matter mixed with urine, stale cigarettes, and vomit, this toilet can prove to be extremely convenient. For those who drank too much Starbucks on their way to work or those with a crying four year-old, a public restroom amongst all the “customer only” signs seems like a reasonable solution. With a twenty minute limit, there is adequate time to relieve your bowels, seek shelter from the rain, shoot up ...
The rail systems put into place in Chicago have always been a major factor in freight transportation. The city provides a centralized hub for the railways throughout the country. After a long run the system is bound to find flaws as old technologies are passed by new ones. The existing railroad structures have in time taken a toll over the years of service. “The railroad system of Chicago has been around for a long time now. After many years it has gone past time time of despair. With the new project it is hoping to bring the popularity back to where it once was” (Chicago Transit Renovation to Improve Service). This update needed will guide Chicagos railroad system into the future. The city also has to take a look on how it is going to keep up with the constant increase of railcars on their tracks. With the new technologies of the future Chicago can only make their infrastructure better. The aim is to stay on time with the railcars to diminish the amount of overcrowding presented in the old rail systems in Chicago.

In this particular poster, the designer has made use of extreme angles to create a sharp effect. While new transportation innovation brought about a lot of progress and change, it was additionally celebrated as an energizing accomplishment. Cassandre depicts the innovation of the train with perfect and basic shapes and underlines its energy by having us gaze toward its towering iron structure from a track-level viewpoint. He likewise accentuates the rate of the rail road with straight lines that vanish quickly into the separation. The poster falls well within the parameters of the Art Deco movement. The train has been reduced to simple circles, rectangles and straight lines which clearly resonates the importance and influence of incorporating geometry in the artworks produced during that
First of all, doing nothing sparks creativity. While parents create schedules for their children to attend multiple activities or summer camps they tend to forget what they did as a child. When I was growing up we played in the field, went exploring and rode our bikes through

In Hands-on Squishy Circuits, AnnMarie Thomas showed us how she took a home-made PLAY-DOH recipe and turned it into a science experiment. It’s amazing that three and four year old children play with something so revolutionary. We may not realize this now, but if we start introducing this stuff to these children, they’re going to become such intelligent adults. I ask myself this question everyday,”Do I want my child to be successful in life, or let them flip burgers at McDonalds?”. I want my child to be able to learn and succeed as they progress in life. This is extremely important for children these

After I completed my procurement of that dashing blue fishing pole, I stopped at the Deli to pick up a hero sandwich in honor of a comrade in arms. As I ordered that big boy, I slipped the owner a ten-spot and asked if he could make this one special for someone deserving. He smiled and went to the oven to get a hot fresh loaf of bread. You could see the hot vapor rising, as he sliced though the crispy crust. He panned though the assortment of exotic mustards and picked out his all time favorites, spreading it across the aromatic loaf. He went straight for the refrigerator where he pulled fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and the large chunks of deli meats that were freshly sliced for the occasion. He added a few extra slices just to be sure the sandwich looked as good as its name.
