There was one time in particular I found myself in a situation which in the past, would have rendered me unable to cope. My Au pair family asked me to take the train by myself to travel to their uncle’s home and bring back their child. I had only been there for a little over two weeks. I still didn't have a good understanding of the Italian language. I was worried I wouldn't make myself understood if I needed help on the way. On my way there, I got off at the wrong station and found myself lost in the center of the town’s piazza. I had never experienced anything like this, and though I was afraid, I kept calm. After an hour of backtracking, I found my way back to the train station and boarded again and was able to find the right destination. I retrieved the child and brought him back home. What an adventure! Later that evening I reflected on how unnerving and stressful the event had been. Ken was my voice teacher. I never admired anyone more than him. He meant the world to me. It would be safe to say that we did not have a typical teacher/student relationship. From my perspective, I aware that I am haw who knows his present situation and who hopes to make change but he experiences a long struggle to find a new cheese station. I am as hesitating whether my choice to go abroad is right or not when my classmates are engaging to land internship as haw enters to the Maze without any cheese at first while hem stays in the old station with little cheese. Now, I am experiencing fear. As haw writing on the wall, what would you do if you do not afraid? It is not uncommon that people will feel fear to a new things, for it means unknown results. However, if we do not make change, we will gradually bored with old objects and are infused with fear for novel ones. When we decide to move with change, the first is to counter the fear lingering in your mind.
