Kylie Jenner. The name itself is its own brand. What are some of the first words that come to mind when you hear that name? Kylie Jenner has the reputation to be the queen of the hottest trends. She is always on top when it comes to new clothes, shoes, and accessories. Adored by millions, Kylie is currently the most popular celebrity on snapchat. You can imagine the craze when Kylie launched her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics. She created a lip kit to help give the illusion that people have plump lips. Being constantly ridiculed by the public, Kylie touched onto her audience with ethos, logos and kairos, without even realizing it. Pathos is the strongest elements because she was always bullied because of how she looked and that is something that many college students can relate to. The Rhetor is Kylie Jenner. Her style is her social media. Everyone associates Kylie with her snapchat. She always posts snapchat stories of her new makeup, as a form of her advertisement. She is the queen of social media, so she is able to get away with that being the only way she gets her information out there. There was a trend going around called the Kylie Jenner lip challenge, which is where people would put their mouth into a shot glass and suck out all the air so that when they removed the cup the blood would rush into their lips and make them look big. They are trying to make fun of the fact that Kylie got lip injections. When Kylie released her lip kits, she was trying to make a way to plump up people's lips without injections, that way they can have her signature look without getting any cosmetic work done. No matter what she did to try to please the public she would get made fun
