Life's Problems Life is full of problems, but how we approach those problems often determines whether we're happy or miserable. Bob Maynard says, "Problems are opportunities in disguise." If we approach problems with Maynard's attitude, we see that problems are really opportunities to learn about others and ourselves. They enable us to live happier and more fulfilling lives. Maynard's quote applies to all kinds of problems. I faced a problem just last week when our family's kitchen sink developed a serious leak. There was water all over our kitchen floor and piles of dishes to be washed. But our landlord was out of town for the week. I come from a big family-I have six brothers and sisters-so we couldn't afford to wait until he got back, and my mom couldn't afford a couple hundred dollars to pay for a plumber on her own. So I took the opportunity to learn how to fix it myself. I went to the library and found a great fix-it-yourself book. In just a few hours, I figured out what was causing the leak and how to stop it. If it weren't for that problem, I probably would h...

At some point in life most people have allowed at least one challenge to defeat them, if not more. Then there are those people who view these challenges as simply that, a challenge. This was the theme throughout Kyle Maynard’s novel, No Excuses, I learned that it is how we go about conquering these challenges that defines us as people. Throughout his novel he notes things will not always come easily; therefore, it is up to us to dig deep and conquer our goals. By finding alternate routes and adjusting your mindset, we are able to achieve any goal we set our minds to. Because it is not the obstacle that holds us back but it is ourselves that keeps us from fulfilling our greatest
It is true that obstacles in life are uncomfortable and unsupportable experiences, but if we would learn to look at the bright sides of problems, keep seeking opportunities, manage situations and learn from failures then the difficulties that we face in our life would turn out for the better not only in the present but also in the
The obstacles which we must face are not there to hinder our daily life. They are there to provide countless opportunities to obtain greater success. In order to be successful we must look at every obstacle as a new opportunity.
Describe a circumstance, obstacle or conflict in your life, and the skills and resources you used to resolve it. Did it change you? If so, how?
One of the most important thing in life is being able to overcome your struggles in a healthy way. Struggles are an unavoidable fact of living. Action needs to be taken a positive way to bring a solution to problems. Problems can unfortunately be dealt with constructively or destructively. In the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas the protagonist fails to deal with his problems in a positive
Dealing with Wicked problems Finding solutions A problem can be defined as a subject of concern between what is desired and what an actual situation is, which makes it difficult to achieve a desired goal, purpose. A solution to a problem is an act performed in order to reduce the effects of the current situation and which gives direction to accomplish the goal or objective. Planning is a way to respond to the changes occurring in the environment around a person, systematically.
Either way, learning how to deal with your problems, small or big, and working to fix them is the only thing that matters. Even though our problems are nowhere near the same level, it still affects our daily lives, knowing that we have those issues.
Most of us go through difficulties, either they be family orientated, be financially based or even with ourselves but, to take hardships and look at them in a positive way is, an attribute that can make anyone successful. Failure is not the end but the beginning of a life lesson. Some of us have setbacks but to remind oneself their only minor setbacks and look at difficulties in a positive manner is a key to success. Obstacles should never deter ones decisions in life either but should be their for encouragement and set a limit to over achieve. One must have the courage to face problems instead of negating or dwelling on them. Learning how to manage those difficulties in a positive manner and overcome those hardships can help become successful.
The Christian tradition is haunted by a significant mark: Suffering. The question that arises from this suffering is if God is the omnipitous being that Christians believe Him to be, why would He let His people, whom he loves, suffer great pains and horrible deaths? According to premises derived from theologians and followers of the Bible, God is "all loving". If that is true, then God would not want His people to suffer, but by just looking around us we see that suffering, in fact, is happening. If there is suffering going on that God does not want, then He would be able to stop that suffering since He also believed to be "all powerful", yet suffering still goes on. Why? Hopefully by the end of this paper I will be able to answer that for myself.
Over the course of our lives, there are times where we are at a high point, where our lives are full of happiness and there is nothing for us to worry about. However, we often come to sit back and realize that our lives might not be exactly how we imagine it. There are problems and obstacles that we must choose to overcome. With the rate society is evolving at, we miss out on the little things like friends and family that makes our lives that much more special. Life can be filled with bliss no matter how bad things may seem and we can find true happiness from fixing these problems to make our lives blissful.

The earth is considered as one of the most beautiful planets in the universe. It is the only planet in our galaxy that has enough water to support life. Unfortunately our planet is suffering due to many problems which should be solved before it is too late. The major problems that are facing our world today are population, pollution and animal extinction.

There are small things in life that upset me. People who use the “R” word, when I forget what I was going to say, when cabinet doors are left open, and when I honestly, just do not know what I am doing in life. A year and a half ago I was out partying. I would spend my weekends with friends and not having a care in the world for anyone else. A few months later, I was sitting in the passenger seat of my boyfriend’s car crying my eyes out to him. He sat there, emotionless and staring forward. I had just found out that I was pregnant. I had no idea what I was going to do, where I would go, how I would handle this, or what my future looked like from this point on. I lost myself and my identity at that moment. I was now clueless and seemed like I was starting over. I remember Sean taking my hand and kissing the back of it as he told me, “Everything will be okay, it is just a bump in the road.” He used to always tell me that when I would get upset, no matter how big or small this “bump in the road” may be, he found a way to calm me down. It did not take long for me to realize what I wanted to do. I was going to keep this baby and I would do everything in my power to better myself for the baby and for our little family.
