Recommended: Essay about self-love
We spend our whole life in search of love from others. We wish that true love will find us and that special love will change our life. If you don't find the love then you fall into the valley of emptiness and feel lost. We always tell our mind that if I get true love then I will be the happiest person on the earth. Actually it works the other way round. You need to love yourself to get love from others and you need to love yourself to give love to others. How can we give something to others which we do not have?
Many emotional problems come because of the lack of self love. Depressed people think that they are not worthy to live in this world. They hate themselves and because of which they take the option of suicide. I agree that sometimes

We have very deep impact of what others tell us about our self, specially our friends and family. In the childhood if you repeatedly hear from your parents that you are very bad and you are not worthy of anybody's love then your entire life goes with that belief. After some time you also start telling the same story to yourself. Guilt is also the biggest enemy of love. You might have done something wrong in the past because of which you cannot forgive yourself. Let bygones be bygones, we need to start to live in the present. Do not repeat those negative karmas and forget about all those negative beliefs about yourself. Start loving yourself and start telling yourself a new story that "I Love …show more content…
It means to give you respect, a positive self-image, and unconditional self-acceptance. Please keep in mind that it does not mean being arrogant, egoistic and think that you are better than anyone else. It just means to give pure love to you and to others. We need to understand that no one is perfect except God. We all have strengths and weaknesses and we should work to improve our self. We all are unique and has specific talents and abilities to offer. We all are here in this world to serve a purpose. We can only know our true purpose on our life when we start radiating love to our self and to others. You do not need approval from others to love yourself.
"To love yourself right now, just as you are, is to give yourself heaven. Don't wait until you die. If you wait, you die now. If you love, you live now" Alan Cohen
Self loving people always keep happiness as their priority. They feel fun and enjoyment in everything they do. You always want to be in their company. You feel peace and harmony with them. They radiate love to everybody all the time. As a child we always loved our self but as time pass on we start creating negative beliefs like we are not good or we are losers etc. Children know at birth that they are loved by God or are accepted by the Universe. Why do we forget such a great truth when we grow up?

We created our ego self in our attempt to protect ourselves from the losses we fear loss of self, loss of other, loss of security, loss of face. As children, when we didn’t get the love we needed, we decided that our true Self must be unlovable. In our attempt to feel safe, we buried our true Self and created the false self the ego, our wounded self. The ego self then went about learning how to feel safe through trying to control others and outcomes. The ego believes that having control over how people see us and feel about us, as well as over the outcome of things, will give us the safety we
Self-love helps build the foundation of who we really are so if this foundation is not solid, life can feel shaky at times. When we truly start to love ourselves, things begin to fall into place for us and life itself begins to feel truly beautiful which is the way life was intended to be felt.
Many people have different perspectives when it comes to the topic of love. The word love has been tossed around by everybody and not very many people really understand the true meaning of love. There are some exceptions, but I think this is especially true for teenagers and young adults. I might be one of those people who do not fully understand the topic of love, but I hope to better understand the topic of love and its true meaning is this course.
Love, that single feeling which generates the funny sensations in people's stomach, giving them the warm pleasures in their body, causing them to feel joy, and to believe every aspect in their life is right. It causes them to receive an exhilarating, appealing feeling that makes them want to rejoice. Love can be a speeding of their heart, but it can also be nerve-racking. It makes their hearts begin to rapidly pump, making a rapid beat— “ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom”. Attempting to describe love is a rigorous task, but it is possible. However, the easiest detail to describe and understand about love is not so much the feeling of it, but the concept of what it is about. Many people may obtain different views and definitions regarding love, but
“A Love like that was a serious illness, an illness form which you can never entirely recover” said Charles Bukowski ,a German born poet. Love can exist in many forms; however, there is one manifestation of love that seems to have fascinated humanity since the dawn of history. This is the love that two people share when they “fall in love”- the love that is now more frequently described as passionate or romantic love. In this sense, love has a special place in human affair. It has always been a universal preoccupation. It may be that lovers’ madness is part of the human condition. The connection between love and states of illness and madness has existed since antiquity. In fact, love is an illness that leads to many psychological and physical disorders.
Love is a weird feeling. It’s been said that love has nothing to do with your heart, it 's all chemical reactions inside of your brain. Infatuation, attraction, crush is such powerful feelings that people do think that they are in love. Also, it is blind to the other person’s weaknesses and exaggerates his or her strengths. Similarly, infatuation often fades within a short time. However, true love is so real and so strong, strong enough that if it came down to it you would even die for your partner. Love as much more than a feeling. It is based on a well-rounded knowledge of a person’s strengths and weaknesses. Not so in the case of China and Jeremy, in T. Coraghessan Boyle “The Love of my Life.” Before we talk about them
I disagree and would argue that being in love and loving someone has two very different meanings. The word love is used too loosely. Loving someone and being in love with someone are two very different things. Although I am not a love master, being only 19 years old and in two serious relationships in my life, I have come to realize being in love is something special. I believe when you are in love it’s not a choice, that person is picked for you. You are addicted to them, you want all your friends and family to love them as much as you do, you are there when they succeed and there when they fail, you miss them every minute you are apart and you unconditionally love them, even when times get hard.
There are many positive things and negative things about the movie and the story. In the movie
What will happen if people live without love? In my point of view, without love I may lose my ability to survive in this world with no hope. Without love I can be defined as a rat living in the sewer, with no chance to see our beautiful land and with no chance to lighten up myself against the darkness. As well as, I may lose many opportunities of enjoyment both mentally and physically, when I do not know what love is.
When you truly love yourself life becomes wondrous, colorful, and bursting with great abundance and love. Loving yourself will enable you to be more inspired to reach for new heights to become all that you esteem to be. If you make loving YOU your highest priority I promise you that you will have a happier more fulfilling life.
