“We each need to find our own inspiration. Sometimes it’s not easy.” —Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989). You wouldn’t have imagined how this quote could have affected someone’s life. In my case it did, as a child, I had no idea of what I wanted to become in the future. Sometimes I would get frustrated because many children already had an idea of what they wanted to be. But after seeing Kiki’s delivery service I had realized that it was okay for me not to know what I wanted to be as an adult. Since I was still young there was still time for me to find something that would inspire me. Later on I discovered that there was a lot of things that inspired me.

During third grade was when I discovered my passion for writing, and art. My mind would just fill with various ideas, it felt as if my hand had a mind of its own, I could draw and write for hours and never get bored. Apart from writing and drawing, I’ve loved animals and science ever since I saw my first butterfly hatch during summer school. It intrigued me to know how humans, animals, and plants helped each other. After discovering my passions I had decided that I wanted my career to be related to my passions. My plan is to work hard to achieve my goal. I researched in advance to make sure that I am physically and mentally prepared to give it my all in high school. The reason why I chose this high school is because I think that it will help me prepare for my career. After researching I have found that in this high school it offers many science course offerings that can help me to gain credits for when I start going to college. In conclusion I want to attend this high school because it offers many science courses that will help me achieve my goal of becoming a veterinarian. This high school also gives me the opportunity to develop even more in my art and writing
