Johnny Jellybean's Life

Three weeks after Johnny’s PC tragedy occurred, another small crisis took place in Johnny Jellybean’s life. In his computer class, his teacher, Mr. Barber, had given him an impossible assignment. The assignment really wasn’t that difficult. All he had to do was write about the future of the internet. Unfortunately, the internet was like a different language to Johnny. In his despair he called his only tech savvy friend, Chris Cobalt. Now most people would be annoyed by being called at 3 am on Sunday night, but not Chris. After hearing about Johnny’s minor disaster, Chris was over at Johnny’s house by 3:15 am.

“They do, you click on your internet explorer browser and type Wikipedia into the search engine.” Chris groaned. “Boom! From there you travel from hyperlink to hyperlink gathering all the information you need.” A slight tinge of annoyance had seeped into his tone.
“Well, I don’t have any more ideas. Where do you think the internet will go in the future?” Johnny was mad now.
“No one knows the future. If I were to take a guess, I’d say e-commerce is definitely going to expand in the future as well as social media. I don’t know if it’ll be new features or new apps. Perhaps they’ll find new and better ways for people to connect. For certain your uncle Jimmy is going to play a big part in it, seeing as he’s a software developer. He’ll be able to develop programs for computer and mobile devices. Throughout the future uncle Jimmy will be behind the scenes making the money and enjoying his job. The internet is the future.” Chris concluded.
