jason's cognitive profile { jason is an isfp, which means his cognitive functions are, in order, fi=se=ni=te. each function and its placement reveals jason's course of judging and perceiving obtainable information, which gives insight to how he operates but more importantly why he operates like he does. below i will state and briefly describe his cognitive functions, thus hopefully enabling a more thorough profile of him.

te enables utilitarianism and efficiency in reaching set goals. however, when te is in an inferior position, the function's qualities barely applies to the dominant fi-user. the dominant and inferior functions are each other's polar opposites, which causes an immature dynamic between the two functions. as for dominant fi-users, their fi finds their te too assertive and unsympathetic for their liking, but their fi is dependant on their te, like it or not. since inferior te is the least developed function, and most likely the most immature or unhealthy as well, the te's qualities are ‘reversed’, so to speak. dominant fi-users are, unlike strong te-users, indecisive, disorganized, and procrastinating because their weak te disenables the knowledge of how to apply logic outside their internal world. dominant fi-users are also prone to use their inferior te to backup their fi under stress, which can cause them to be austere, militant, and unwilling to negotiate. at best, inferior te will grant the user the ability to apply their principles into the external reality and become efficient in reaching their goals, and having superiority complex about one's individuality and morals at
Jason pictures himself in a world where he won’t be distracted, which will give him the opportunity to focus and achieve his goals. He started thinking about it, planning what he’ll do and how he’s going to make the best out his second chance. “He won’t be like his dad, he thinks, he won’t waste his chances. He’ll grab what comes and run with it” (Allison 34). It will be all about him and the basement, who he will become, who he was meant to become. “In the basement, they won’t feed him much, so he will get all dramatic skinny. He could learn to eat imaginary meal meals and taste every bite-- donuts and hot barbecue wings and stay all skinny and pure. He’s going to come out that basement Brad-Pitt handsome and ready for anything” (Allison 34-35). In his mind, these are all the opportunity that he’ll get to become who he wants to be.
Having lost all of his memories, Jason is put in a difficult situation where he cannot look at his past to help him with his decisions. This quote shows his lack of confidence before the start of his quest “Everyone seemed to think he was so brave and confident, but they didn’t see how lost he really felt. How could they trust him when he didn’t even know who he was?” (Riordan 166). He is forced to rely on his instincts, and what his heart tells him is right, so that he can make the best decisions. This quote shows us how he makes decisions “He reached in his pocket and pulled out the gold coin. He let his instincts take over, flipping the coin in the air like he’d done it a thousand times. He caught it in his palm, and suddenly he was holding a sword—a wickedly sharp double-edged weapon.” (Riordan 23). Keep in mind that when doing this, he had no knowledge of him ever doing this before. This was all done on his instincts. Jason might not have memories of who he was, or what he did, but he has learned that if he is going to lead his friends like a Husky leading a sled ☺ (Simile) he is going to have to lead with integrity and use his instincts to help
Regression is a defense mechanism resulting in an individual returning to a childlike state to cope with unpleasant thoughts or stress. Regression occurs when an individual faces a particularly stressful or tense situation, and instead of handling said scenario in a mature and adult manner, an immature, childlike technique is employed to handle the anxiety. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy which can be used to treat a wide range of mental health problems. Cognitive Therapy is an active, directive, time limited, structured approach used to treat a variety of psychiatric disorders, for example depression, anxiety, phobias (Beck, 1967). It emerged as a rational amalgam of behavioural and cognitive theories of human behaviour and is based on the idea that our thoughts determine our behaviour and feelings (Kendall PC, 1979). My peer review writing workshop went very well. I learn that my peers writing are unique, but Donnovan and Mayari seem to lack on introducing the definition from the dictionary or their own definition. Their writing topic is interesting, but they are still in the process in adding examples to it in order to make a stronger essay. The feedbacks they had given me was somewhat helpful,but the suggestion given by Ms. Siegal seems to be more helpful. I did enjoy the comments given by my peers it made me feel quite impressed they enjoy my paper.

Psychology includes many sub-fields of study such areas as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes. Many people go through troubles every day, some more than others; this might be related to a mental disorder or condition affecting the mind. This is why psychologist are important in society today. They are always working hard to find new medicines and therapy techniques to help make life a lot easier.
The relationship between personality and behavior. Does our personality cause the behavior to stay calm or go on a rampage? People all over the world have different types of disorders and a certain disorder is called a personality disorder. Arguments from researchers have been made whether or not with someone who has a personality disorder has anger problems and is a danger to others (Davison, 2012). Behavioral problems come from social-cultural influences such as presence of others, the media and peer influences (Myers, 2014).
Personality involves a blend of characteristics that make one unique. In reviewing personality, we consider the influence of the interactions that one is engaged in, the nature or the environment of one's upbringing and genetics. The characteristic traits may change over time while some of them becoming a lasting part of a person’s personality. In this essay will analyze the theories that relate to the character and the various stages that children undergo during development. We will use the same theories and developmental stages in analysis my progress from childhood up to date.
