J. Gregory Salon is a high-end hair salon that offers a variety of services other than haircuts, such as coloring, styling, highlights, retexturizing, nails, hair removal, and makeup. It strive to have their customers leave with a positive experience and hope that, in turn, they will continue to receive services here. But due to its location, they are not easily spotted by passing cars or visible from major roads. Because of this, the public needs to become more aware of the salon and the services they offer. It is important that the objectives not only increase the number of clientele for each stylist, but also help the clientele to realize the salon offers more than one service for their convenience.

Objective 3: Due to the implied increase of clientele, the product sales will also increase by 30% over the course of a one-year period of January 2016 to December 2016. The total revenue received by the salon at the end of the year and compared to last year’s revenue, as well as in their respected groups, will measure all objectives. The other comparisons will include each stylist’s revenue from 2015 and 2016, the revenue made off of the selected services from 2015 and 2016, and the revenue from products sales from 2015 and 2016. While all three have an aspect of hairstyling, J. Gregory has all aspects (cut, color, retexurizing, extensions, and highlights) as the main focus and service. Genesis Salon focuses more on spa treatments while Eye Candy Salon focuses on cutting and coloring. J. Gregory also has the longer, being open for approximately 66.5 hours per week, while Eye Candy is open for about 53 hours per week, and Genesis is only open for about 43 hours per week. One final advantage is that J. Gregory has both men and women who specialize in barbering, a technique used on men’s hair. Some men will only go to barbershops or only to men stylists because they fear women will not understand the simplicity or complexity of their hair.
