Working formerly as Public Relation and Administration Officer Dyson Ltd, it is my understanding that Personal skill is kind of individual abilities to have control over one’s motivation, behaviour and exercise and guide organization and individual progress.
Skills are competencies possessed by individual’s that play vital role in organization’s success. Moreover personal development is vital to success and it is guided by few personal skills that direct individual and organization towards success. Few of these are discussed as below:

Mentoring
Mentoring refers to effective elements of training to development and learning and it is popular tool that supports personal development.
“Mentoring is long term passing on of advice, guidance and support. In workplace it has been liable to describe relationship in which more experienced colleague uses their greater knowledge and understanding of work or workplace to support development of more junior or inexperienced member of staff. It's also form of apprenticeship, whereby inexperienced learner learns "tricks of the trade" from experienced colleague, backed-up as in modern apprenticeship by offsite training.”

CPD is about learning and development that enhances the participant's effectiveness in their professional role. This should maintain and enhance existing competences as well as developing new knowledge and skills. It need not be exclusively about formal courses or qualifications and may involve development in both technical and non-technical areas. Mentor orientation can be described as “Employees who have seniority… to oversee new hires for a certain time-period and are ultimately responsible for providing much of the training that will take place at work.” (Taylor, 2011) This enables newly hired employees to receive consistent support after the formal orientation and 3 days on the job training. The mentoring support should be planned based on the lessons in the formal orientation program identified above. Since supervisors must continue to do work-related tasks association with leadership at the job-site, mentors can direct, supervise and help new employees refine skills needed to become successful and productive.
The main two types of mentoring are natural mentoring and planned mentoring. Natural mentoring occurs through friendship, collegiality, teaching, coaching, and counseling that is formed from un-constructed planning (Newman, 1990, p. 41). In contrast, planned mentoring occurs through structured programs in which mentors and participants are selected and matched through formal processes (Newman, 1990, p. 43). There are many different ways to describe mentoring, but they all boil down to one thing: a positive, supportive relationship between a young person and a caring adult.

Mentoring is to “support, encourage skills, and help with personal growth” (What Is Mentoring?). Tutors are typically when regarding school or certain skills, such as singing. Mentors are known as the experienced and knowledgeable person, while the mentee is the person seeking the help or gaining the help. Mentors can be used for virtually anything since they are there for encouragement and support.
