Personal skills can be described as those skills that every individual possesses. Some skills that are needed in our daily routine to solve our daily problems which some people are managing with an understanding of a dominant position with a positive idea. So if a person doesn’t think positively they may face difficulties in managing situations which can happen on a daily basis. People learn not only by meetings and handing out rewards to them, they also learn by having knowledge of their results and by receiving feedbacks from their team leaders. Learning is done through actions. When individuals perform or do, they discover and absorb. It represents an alteration in the behavior as a result from the experience. When people learn, their behaviors would change as they obtain info and experience (Solomon 2014). For instance, say a person had a reaction after consuming peanuts, and so she had a bad experience. She would afterwards associate this bad experience with peanuts, and “learned” that she should not consume peanuts. And so for that reason, she would not be purchasing any more peanuts. Rather, if she had a positive experience with peanuts, she certainly would want to purchase the product again. The learning concepts can be applied in marketing by business organizations.

Learning is a process that individuals face every day, whether it is in classroom, at work, or surfing the Internet, but each person has a particular style in which they prefer to accomplish this learning. An individual’s learning style is the manner in which that person finds learning to be the easiest for them, and while many individuals have a primary style, everyone uses all the learning styles in various combinations throughout their day and life.
Learning is defined as a permanent change in attitude or behaviour that occurs as a result of repeated experience (Sims & Sims, 1995). Understanding one’s learning style has many advantages as it can help one to identify the learning method or activities that can help to optimise the learning experience. It has been suggested that the importance of one’s learning style has been identified through studies and research on how one can maximise the potential for success and further learning development (Honey & Mumford, 2006). Learning styles are unique to each individual and are developed in childhood (Chase, 2001). We all have different personalities; therefore we all have preferred learning styles that suit us best. The way one learns depends on preference. Some learn by observing, listening and imitating others and draw conclusions from their experience. There are several factors that affect our learning style; for example, background, culture, religion and environment can have a major influence on one’s learning.
While working or while looking for work there are certain skills sets that are universally important. No matter what job or career path you have chosen these skills make it easier to obtain your goals, whatever they may be.
“A learning style is a way of learning and refers to the way that you learn new information” (2). Most people have one preferred learning style and perform to a lesser standard when learning in a different style than what they’re used to. Nowadays, children are told to take a quiz in school to determine what their preferred learning style is, but after a few years, not many of these children remember what their preferred learning style is, or even if they do, they don’t apply it to their learning.

Viitala(2005) concluded another theory about management competencies that contains six categories which are relevant to technical , knowledge , knowledge, leadership and supervisory competencies, social and intrapersonal. Technical competencies allow managers to handle the content of processes that they are responsible for by using tools, procedures and techniques. Business competencies are related to any business, it makes managers to think, to lead in the managing system. Knowledge management competencies include a lot of professional management knowledge such as concept formation and problem solving. Leadership and supervisory competencies are meant to lead people, support people and participate people. Thought out our lives, we are faced with many different learning experiences. Some of these experiences have made a better impact than others. This can be attributed to everyone’s different multiple intelligences or learning styles. A persons learning style is the method though which they gain information about their environment. As a teacher, it is our responsibility to know these styles, so we can reach each of our students and use all of the necessary methods.
