Imaginary Business Action Plan For this item of course work I have been asked to produce a comprehensive study into starting an imaginary business of my choice in the Ballymena district in which I live. To help me proceed through this I will develop an inclusive action plan which will allow me to see how well I'm progressing through the time that I have been given. The action plan will also help me with the points that I must cover to ensure this study is comprehensive. In order for this study to be comprehensive and not lacking in detail or facts I must research all aspects of starting a business. I will be using books, the internet and contacting similar business to aid me in my research; this type is all classified as desk research, all the results will be quantitative rather than qualitative. I will also use field research such as questionnaires which is more qualitative. I propose to start a large electrical superstore retail outlet; I have decided to make my business a LTD, as this lets me have full control and separates my company finances from my own. Background Information In implementing a strategic plan for Coastal Medical Center, our consulting team has conducted many analyses and formed numerous strategies in order for Coastal Medical Center to be successful. Such assessments include an internal analysis, external analysis, gap analysis, and SWOT analysis. In conducting these analyses, our consulting team was able to better understand the internal environment, external environment, where the organization currently stands in terms of performance, and the major strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that oppose the Coastal Medical Center. After analyzing the Coastal Medical Center, it is apparent that the employees and staff have no conception of the mission, vision, and values of this health care facility. In addition to this lack of structure, CMC has many projects in the midst of production that lack support of a common goal, employees are unsatisfied with their jobs, the two boards lack ability to agree on strategic decisions for the organization,, and the medical center has a dismal reputation when it comes to quality care.

Fall prevention needs to be the target of many hospitals. Falls occur each year in hospitals and can be detrimental to the patient, especially the elderly patient (Peel, Travers, Bell, & Smith, 2010). Falls can lead to broken bones, longer stays in the hospital and potentially can lead to death. Falls are expensive to both the patient and the hospital (Trepanier & Hilsenbeck, 2014). This paper would like to take a look at a strategic action plan that would help to prevent falls. This plan of action will includes organizational changes that are geared towards fall prevention. The second part of this paper will include an evaluation plan that is designed to measure and monitor the plan.
