Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, friends and family, faculty, students, and most of all Graduates of the class of 2016. It is an honor to speak to you on this special occasion. Today is an important milestone in [my life] and all of my classmates lives. It’s the day when we can finally experience the results of 2 years of hard work and sacrifice. It is the day we can stand proud as living monuments to the proverbial saying, “anything that doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger.” I know [myself] and many of my classmates had lots of extracurricular responsibilities that made this challenge even more challenging; but we can look around and realize we made it. Through all the long hours of studying, countless exams and quizzes we
Good afternoon to everyone and congratulations to the class of 2018, thank you all for being here today. From your very first day of school as a child, to the last exam of your senior year, your primary goal was to learn so that you could graduate. At home, maybe you learned how to cook from your mom. Maybe you learned how to change the oil in your car from your dad. You may have even learned how to sneak out of the house from your older brother or sister.
Today, as we graduate, with degree nearly in hand, I challenge each of you to make a difference in whatever you do. Remember that life didn't end when we re-entered school. Life continued throughout our program. Even when stretched to the limit, life only got more challenging. And now, graduating, life only changes pace. Our degree completion is not really an ending as much as a new beginning as we re-enter our lives of work and home. We thank all of our family, friends, instructors and co-workers who helped see us through this process. Thank you for this opportunity and good luck to you all.
Hello, Harry. How are you doing? Happy Halloween! I hope you had a restful night, and your day is going smoothly. Thank you for your sweet, lovely message and the lovely flashing photo.
Jeremy K! Good evening, I miss you. We should be tangled up at this very moment! You do realize I would love to go to dinner, lunch, breakfast, brunch, tea, the movies, park, pool, Zoo, Aquarium, sonic, Walmart, chapel, golf course, darts aka anywhere with you correct?
Thank you, and welcome Fr. Al, Ms Barreda, friends and family, faculty and staff, and classmates in red. I'm honored to be the salutatorian of the class of 2016, meaning I'm the second highest ranking in the class, but the first to speak instead. And because no one remembers the first speech (so good luck Megan), I’m sure that everyone will walk out of here not remembering anything I said. And UrbanDictionary states that the Salutatorian is: “The less important of two students who have to give a speech on graduation day.”
Good evening fellow graduates and guests. Think back to thirteen years ago, to that first day of kindergarten. We were clinging onto our parents’ legs, crying. “Don’t leave me.” “No me dejes.”
Hello friends and family, and welcome to the graduation of the class of 2017 I would like to thank all of you for being here not only tonight, but every other night we have needed a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on as we concur the adversities and mountains that life faces us with. As an avid hiker and a participant of the 100-mile wilderness hike, I very well know the feeling of reaching the top of a mountain and the sense of accomplishment which comes with it. Tonight, this is the top of our mountain, it is the night celebrating all of the false summits and steep inclinations which we overcame, all of the points where it would have been easier to just give up and go back the way we came. Tonight my classmates and I enjoy the bittersweet
Hannah, Today's the very day that our relationship will be considered official, surreal, isn't it? From here is a long road that we, and Ki, will walk together. From here, we have an entire future ahead of us. It's quite difficult to think that our lives could change any more than they already have, yet it's just the beginning.
Hello family and friends, I would just like to thank you for coming from all around the world to celebrate my special weekend. don't worry this will be quick so we can get this party started! before I begin I would just like to thank my parents for making this event happen. ever since I was born you haven't stopped nurturing me so thank you!! To start off, I would like to talk about the best day of my life!
Good Morning Carolyn, It was really nice receiving your email, I feel happy when I get to read from you and learning all the fun and exciting things about your life that we also have in common. It's also good to know that you are the kind of friend anyone would enjoy having and I also strongly believe that we are now in a place in our lives where we are both sure of what we want, and see the need to be happy with our partners rather than cause any harm in anyway. I appreciate you. I thought it would be helpful if I shared what some more of my interests and what some of my passions are and also what my likes and dislikes are.
Good afternoon class of 2017! First off i would like to congratulate everyone graduating today and thank those who came to support. At first i was very on the fence about coming to this school both because i felt like giving up on myself and because of some assumptions (such as . . . ) i made about this school. We’ve all had our own problems that led us to transferring to La Vista / La Sierra - everyone has problems.
I am extremely happy and honored to be able to give this short speech in my oldest brother’s wedding. Today, i am able to witness, be here, and to congratulate my brother ANTHONY and his beautiful wife, GISELLE on their marriage. I have always believed that there is someone out there for everyone and today, ANTHONY has found who he calls his soulmate, GISELLE. The first time I met GISELLE, I knew that I was going to accept her and get along very well with her because of her personality. I was sure and positive that GISELLE was the one for my brother just by seeing how happy he was around her.
Dearest members of Manchester United, Being a captain of this football team is a bit like being father of the groom at a wedding, seeing players come and leave. Certainly if we dined in the style we are dining tonight we would all be plump. It's hard to believe that another season has come to an end and the time has come again for our annual end of year speech. Whether it’s been a glorious success or a dreadful disaster.
Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. Perhaps this speech would be incomplete if I don’t say something to the teachers. On the behalf of my entire class, I would like to thank all my teachers: thank you. Thank you for teaching us, for leading us, for building us up as adults. I know that we have not given back to you the respect you deserve. I know that we have not told you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your schedules to help us. And I know that we have not said thank you for giving us a wonderful education. So, I hope that as I say thanks, you can forget our shortcomings and remember us for who we are and not from the mistakes we have made. ...
Good afternoon everyone. Friends, family, staff members, honored guests and fellow graduates. On behalf of the Grad Class of 2016, we were selected by our class to give some parting words. Today is our day. After thirteen years of knowing only these walls around us, our time here has come to an end. We are officially stepping forward into our futures. No longer united on one path, as we are now branching off on our own, taking our own paths.
