I am extremely happy and honored to be able to give this short speech in my oldest brother’s wedding. Today, i am able to witness, be here, and to congratulate my brother ANTHONY and his beautiful wife, GISELLE on their marriage. I have always believed that there is someone out there for everyone and today, ANTHONY has found who he calls his soulmate, GISELLE.
The first time I met GISELLE, I knew that I was going to accept her and get along very well with her because of her personality. I was sure and positive that GISELLE was the one for my brother just by seeing how happy he was around her. GISELLE and I became good friends right away and that's how it's been ever since. When I told ANTHONY that I wanted to give a speech at the wedding because
Before I ask you to join me in a toast to the bride and groom. I'd like to bore you with a few words. I will try to keep them short. as I know that the other speakers are really looking forward to standing here before you and making their speeches!
First of all, I’d like congratulate the groom (bridegroom) on a very enjoyable speech - which has raised the expectation of my speech to a level that I cannot possibly hope to fulfill now. Thanks for that!
Wedding Speech Delivered by the Brother of the Bride. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Anna's brother Kevin and I'm here today to say a few words on behalf of our father. Unfortunately Ron is unable to be here today due to ill health. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that he passes on all his love and best wishes to Anna and Melvin on their special day.
Finally, on behalf of the bride and groom I would like to thank everyone for sharing their special day, it is a true millstone - sorry milestone in their lives. On behalf of myself I wish you'd all stayed at home - as things would have been a lot easier on me. I started planning this speech about 5 months ago and I expect you all feel like I've been delivering it equally as long. But now it gives me immense pleasure (not to mention relief) to invite you to all stand and raise your glasses in a toast to John and Angie. To love, laughter and happily ever after. To John and Angie CONGRATULATIONS
Jeremy K! Good evening, I miss you. We should be tangled up at this very moment! You do realize I would love to go to dinner, lunch, breakfast, brunch, tea, the movies, park, pool, Zoo, Aquarium, sonic, Walmart, chapel, golf course, darts aka anywhere with you correct?
Hello beautiful bridesmaids, We are 5 weeks and counting until the big day!!!!!!! I can't (and yet somehow I can) believe that it is almost here. I am so excited to have you all stand beside me on this special day. Below are some points I would like to remind you of: - I have confirmed that all of you picked up your dresses. Alterations should be underway so that you don't have to pay rush charges.
Today, we'll seal a love that'll survive past the grave, and it's an honor to share this moment with you. I cannot stress to you enough how excited I am to spend the rest of my life with one of my dearest friends. From this day on, it won't just be you and I, it'll be us, creating our own secrets and memories, learning things about the world that's now ours to explore. Truth be told, we still have a lot of growing up to do, and whatever happens from today will just be a beautiful fragment of the mess we'll be making together. It'll be perfect.

Dad- Your hard work and dedication have taught me that giving up is never an option. You’ve shown me that it’s better to speak your mind than say nothing at all. I will always cherish the times we spent in your garage; you working on the snowmobiles and me, picking up pieces of metal with the expandable magnet. Thank you for putting up with my mood swings and being patient.
It’s crazy to think that not that long ago we were the girls who though getting married and having kids wasn't for us. Now here we are getting ready for one of the biggest days of your life. Hook: People are people, whoever they love. Nobody has the right to choose their destiny. If the government were to say that straight people couldn't marry there would be riot upon riot, so why aren’t we outraged by the decisions in place already? We do nothing about it, we let the people running our country be untruthful, hypocritical, and two-faced which has lead to false educational decisions.
Ladies and gentlemen As the President of the Aboriginal Society of James Cook University, it is my honour to formally acknowledge the hard work of Eddie Mabo and the sacrifices he has made for the fifteen years or so, to achieve the historic annulment of the ‘Terra Nullius’ law by the Supreme Court last week. Although we are greatly saddened to have lost Eddie to cancer five months ago, it is with great pride that we call upon his eldest son, Eddie Jr, to receive this award, on behalf of his father. Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together to welcome Eddie Mabo’s son, Eddie Jr! Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.
Sorry this was written the day of, but I was behind on picture hunting: 12 years ago you entered my world. Today, you and I celebrate our 11th year of marriage. We might have not have had the best 11 years. We fought, and you cried. All more than we should have.
