I am a current student of Thompson Rivers University and I would like to have a device that would easily provide me with accessible data and personal files, as there is a lack of available computers in the computer laboratories. This need has prompted me to the idea to buy a tablet. Many factors would convince me to purchase a particular model/brand, such as: national/religion and geographical environment, social status, and age. My interest to a modern device is a result of the upbringing in a modern society, with achievements in the field of electronic equipment and attendant skills of a consumer and corresponding set of values. These ‘frames” influence how I think. For example, every time when I saw some children are playing on the ground with their hands touch the ground, I thought this was wrong and their parents should have stop them playing on the ground. Because my parents yelled at me if my hands were touching the ground in the public when I was a child. They explained to me it was very dirty with a lot of germs. My parents have built a frame of how I feel about the public ground, which is dirty and a lot of germs. After I watch the video of Dr. Ness, thinking outside the box and changing the point of view are some of the tools to break these “frames”. (&Ness, 2011) Now, I think that touching the dirty ground may help strengthen the immune system.

First impressions are created by a composite of signals given off by a new experience (Flora, 2004). The judgment of these impressions depends on the observer and the person being observed (Flora, 2004). When you meet someone for the first time it takes about three seconds to be evaluated by the observer (Mind Tools, 1996-2011,). During this time the person forms an opinion about you based on your appearance, your body language, your demeanor, and how you dress (Mind Tools, 2996-2011,). Impressions are important to us because they are impossible to be reserved and the set the tone for all the relationships that follow (Mind Tools, 1996-2011).
