Watching my grandpa use an iPhone is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He acts like a fish out of water. Daily life has changed over the past hundred years because of advancements in technology such as reading, games, and communication. First, there are many changes in the material that we read a stone tablet is no longer required. Second, there have been many changes in the games children play because of technology board games re a thing of the past. Last, communication has also changed in many ways over the past hundred years I no longer have to wait for snail mail to hear from my best friend. One hundred years ago to get in contact with a relative or a best friend I would have to write a letter or go to them in person now I can just text them or email them. If I wanted to see a relative or a best friend a hundred years ago I would have to go and talk to them face to face now can just face time them or Skype the. I would use to have to watch the news for school closings and now the school calls me and alerts me about anything that happens or if someone gets kidnapped I will get an alert on my phone called an Amber alert that lets me know someone is in trouble. Back when phones were attached to walls I would have to be stationary while on the phone talking to someone now I can be free and walk around also back in the day when phones were attached to the wall only one person could be on the phone at a time thanks to something called a landline now millions of people can be on the phone at the same time.
