After finishing middle school is the one event everyone looks forward to.After many years listening to my older cousins and uncles tell their stories about how stunning the places they visited were or how much trouble they could've have gotten in, it was my time to experience it now. For six days me, mi friends, my classmates and a few teachers boarded a bus that took us around Ecuador's most iconic landmarks. Without a doubt, the best memory I have of those years. For something to be quite a memorable experience it had to be above expectations and it was, I saw the most beautiful landscapes, experienced the thrill to be far away from parental restrictions and best of all I made memories with my friends that we will always remain. After we got in that bus the views only got better than the last. In our first stop we stayed in a field next to a huge lake where we camped out, the night was freezing cold but the calmness of the water and the infinity of the stars in front of me took my mind off of that. A day or two later we arrived at the capital where we rode a cable car to the highest point of the mountains …show more content…
Sure there were six teachers there to keep us sane but I wasn't gonna let that limit my fun activities. There was something about being thirteen and hiking through a cold mountain for a few hours or walking in a big city and getting lost in it. Whenever I had the chance to do something I didn't ask for approval, I didnt look around to see who will see me after all the teachers had to many kids to keep an eye on and well the strangers chances are, I'll never see them again. I got the best out of that mentality, I saw things no one else saw, heard and experienced more than anyone because I felt free to take it a little farther. I had many things to talk about and pictures to show my friends of the places I only went to see, most importantly I didn't get
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
It was a warm April day and all of the students were let out of school for the day. I went home to finish packing with the help of my parents making sure that I had everything and I wasn 't forgetting. I was excited for a week now to go on the trip to Washington D.C. with the whole 8th grade class for a week.
After I was all settled in it was time to have my first meal in Ecuador. So my family our friends who were staying with us and I grabber our umbrellas to shield us from the strong rays of sun and began to walk to the restrautn we were to eat at. Once we were there we sat down and ate. My oh my was everything
When we finally arrived in the mountains, it was breathtaking. They were covered with trees, and the clouds floating over them were so beautiful. I looked down and saw valleys of flowers that went on forever. I was so anxious to get off the bus and roll in the grass with the clear, blue sky above my head.
Middle school long journey well four years ago it was. It feels like middle school flew by with many good and bad memories but how do I choose just one or even a few. Well today I will write about 3 of my favorite memories throughout middle school. I will miss the teachers, all the friends I've made, and all of the after school activities .
Don´t you just need a field trip idea! Take a trip to Monticello. Monticello is the home of our 3rd president, Thomas Jefferson. Monticello is a historical field trip. The age range for visiting Monticello would most likely be 9 and up. 25 people can enter Monticello per tour. In my opinion, 2 chaperones will be needed per group. The cost per student on this field trip is the cost for children 6-11 is 8$.
My wife said her time in the rest of elementary school was sometimes scary, but she learned a lot and had great teachers. Her fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Ford left a great impression her on. She was very involved in hands on projects with her students. She would read aloud stories every Friday to her class. She was a very animated teacher.
Spring break like western democracy, educational systems, philosophy, science, and the arts started in ancient Greece. Historically spring break was the time where Dionysus, the god of wine and festivities, was venerated. In this time the Grecians would have festivals with wine drinking competitions and performances. It can be said that mere details have changed in this holiday or break, but not much else. In 1936, Florida hosted the First College Coaches Swim Forum that brought many college swimmers to the area. This meeting of swimmers evolved to parties of students at the beaches and pools of Florida during this week. Spring Break kept evolving and becoming an event for college students thanks to the production of movies and songs like Spring Break starring Tom Cruise and Shelley Long or Girls Gone Wild. Spring Break is not all about the drinks and the parties. Although the evolution of Spring Break has been created around the idea of college students consuming products that are not ideal for the body or engagement in activities that are not the norm in every day life, other programs have been created not involving these ideals. These other programs range from college sponsored
Our next stop when Ensenada, Mexico. While we were getting off there was a mariachi band playing and folklorico dancers dancing and taking pictures with everyone. Further down were about thirty to forty little stands selling knickknacks, candy, art, and souvenirs. We were not sure what we would do there, but we did hear people were taking a tour of the town and it took you to different places where people do stuff there. The tour guide first took us to historical parts of the town like the revolutionary park, then they took us out to eat where I had the best tacos! After we ate, we saw a brochure on the bus that showed people ziplining. We did not know that we could have done that there. The chaperon asked the tour guide and he was such a
Sunday morning I remember being in a rush to clean my room and rush over to breakfast. There was a lot of bustle in the dorm and we were all making last minute preparations to make sure that we were ready. Before mission trip had even really begun we were faced with a 2 hour delay but eventually we were on the road and mission trip had officially begun. We would be driving from northern California all the way to northern Arizona. The first day we just drove for approximately 8 hours until we got to the hotel where we would stop for the night. Then the next morning, after breakfast, we were back on the road and that evening we arrived at Holbrook Indian School at around 6:15. We had worship with them that night and then we all proceeded to go to bed.
On the rainy Sunday leading into Spring Break, I had the honor of worshiping with this church and I must say that it was a remarkable experience. St. Mark’s Lutheran Church believe that the Bible is God’s own inerrant and infallible Word, and that it is the only rule and norm for Christian teaching. The church happens to be a member congregation of the Lutheran Church in Missouri Synod.
Spring break is something that happens all around the world at Universities and schools all over. It started in the 1930’s in the United States, and has spread to many other western countries. This break is normally always associated with gatherings, parties, and vacations to warm places like Daytona Beach, Florida, Arizona, and Cancun or Cabo Mexico. Some facts about spring break around the world, is that South Padre Island in Texas averages 25 arrests a day and collects about $80,000 in fines from all of the college kids that go on vacation. Also, every year between 1.5 and 2 million students in the United States goes on spring break and collectively spends over one billion dollars. Spring break is also known as Easter Vacation, April Break,
my trip. I had taken part in many activities and I got to know a lot
The teachers of the school were very supportive, I loved them all. Being at school is very good in terms of dealing with different people. We were exposed very early to this world; where there are different attitudes and beliefs. I think having teachers with totally different minds has a role in our social intelligence development. I learned how to deal with people even if their beliefs, thoughts and styles do not meet mine.
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
