Different concepts and strategies are used to evaluate health promotion programs. Program evaluation is an important procedure which helps to measure the programs pre-set goals. In order to conduct an effective program evaluation, health promoters look for information about the program which is needed for accountability and program improvement, process evaluation and outcomes. During this time the promoters put together a document which details how the program will be monitored and evaluated, how the program intend to use the evaluation results for improvement of the program and decision-making. In this step health promoters try to make sense of the data collected, and help answer the evaluation questions. During this step data that has been collected is entered for analysis in the computer indirectly as previously collected data for the purposes of analysis like it is done with completed paper surveys or transcribed interviews or is entered directly at the point of data collection. The analysis according to Morris and King (2007) is dependent on the evaluation questions, the type of the data collected, analysis and the type of the information that stakeholders find credible; they also organize the data to enable analysis like for example quantitative data, they may decide on how to handle missing values and label variables and values; that will make data tables easier to understand and transfer transcripts into software that allows for qualitative analysis for qualitative
