In this step health promoters try to make sense of the data collected, and help answer the evaluation questions. During this step data that has been collected is entered for analysis in the computer indirectly as previously collected data for the purposes of analysis like it is done with completed paper surveys or transcribed interviews or is entered directly at the point of data collection. DiClemente (2013) stated, “Although no evaluation is perfect, evaluation research can have a high degree of rigor” (DiClemente, Salazar, & Crosby, 2013, pp. 298). The result of a high degree of rigor can lead to the utilization by program planners and policy experts which would in turn could impact public health policy and promotion practice (DiClemente et al., 2013). Program evaluation is a skill that requires for skilled people to conduct an evaluation that is credible. My reason for taking this class was to gain the basic understanding of the program evaluation. As I became involved in the readings and class assignments I discovered a profound level of respect for this application. I uncovered that evaluations should dedicate thoughtfulness to all stakeholders who are invested in the program and affected by its evaluation. In the environment in which I work this is an unknown process, program evaluation happens at the end of the year. In most cases, most programs are unsuccessful because of the fact of having unrealistic goals and outcomes. Evaluations can be formative and summative. Formative evaluations are conducted in the development and implementation phase of the program. This process can be beneficial because it provides with information on how to best attain the goals or make changes to the program. Summative evaluations happen when the programs are well instituted and inform on to what degree the program is attaining its outcomes and goals (Patton, 1987).

For the program to develop there must be an increase in the number of conformities. Carrying out promotional campaigns is a strategy that will ensure that the specific segments such as the older adults understand the benefits of the program (Choi & Majumdar, 2014). The development in filed will also depend on the rate of sharing correct and updated information at both the local and international scales. The rollout of the CDPC interventions has faced challenges of funding and adaptation, in addition to pressure for the stakeholders.
When evaluating, it is important to establish a difference between a project and a program. A program is repeated on a continual basis, whereas a project is one-time occurrence (Chelladurai, 2017). Next, managers need to attempt a program evaluation, which is defined as a systematic analysis of organizational results implemented by the goals set by the organization in the planning phase. A good method of implementing this evaluation process is to see if the organization achieved its desired outcome. Secondly, monitor and determine if the activities have been carried out in the correct and appropriate manner.

This will go over a step by step process on how this plan is going to work and where we are during each stage of the process. Coordinate, through group effort, the services of each department through teamwork to get the maximum independence needed for each individual plan/step. There will need to be an evaluation of health promotion activities that is measureable and defined. Advocate for the different communities and their particular needs and adjust accordingly.
Health Promotion Report As part of our Health Promotion module, my classmates and I were placed into three groups. Each group was given a class to work with from the local Cornamaddy National School, with whom they would have to teach a topic related to the area of nutrition which was suited to the class’ age group. My group were allocated 5th class from the school, and we began brainstorming ideas immediately. We felt a topic such as the food pyramid may be too easy for this age group, as they may have touched upon it already and we wanted to provide them with new information.
