Game design, my whole life I have dreamed of doing this, being in the field of professional video game designing. Started off when I was a child, first favorites were Mario, sonic, streets of rage, and of course mega man. My past was so magnificent and I wouldn’t dare to change a thing about it, however, not that I have most of the necessary skills I plan on at long last creating my own games, making my dreams come to life. To get to this master plan I did some research and learning an unspeakable amount of knowledge attending ITT Technical institute. Skills I have learned so far are in adobe software which includes, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, premiere pro, Dreamweaver, and flash. I also know how to use 3D Autodesk Maya software and consider myself above average in it. Even so, I thought digging up more information would be very useful so I looked up some of my favorite companies and games DC Comics, Marvel, Capcom are the most popular and up to date futuristic game design in the future companies.
DC Comics, the makers of Oliver Queen. Inventers are Mort Weisinger and George Papp and made his first appearance in More Fun Comics issue 73 in 1941, my most favorite character that was ever made. Green arrow is the name, justice is the game. Oliver queen is part of the justice ledge and is a millionaire according to the comics and the show which I faithfully watch every Weds night at 7pm on the CW TV network channel. DC Comics create some of the best games which prove to be great motivation to me and others just looking at Oliver Queen story line and they do so well at what their work. I played many of their games, Injustice Gods among us is a famous hit. People everywhere participate in tournaments around the world to see who i...

...n’t changed much since then. Still love the thrill of an epic challenging adventure and that is my gold to create one. I believe this kind of entertainment is permanent and will never fade dull that why I say this is game design for the future. Everyone is updating software and evolving to a level so advanced there is no comparing to the skills anymore without professional experience and that’s why I’m doing what I’m doing now. Attending school, about to graduate this semester and evolving this generation to its limits. I don’t believe in giving up, I believe I can make something so amazing the elderly people will go back to playing my video games and having old school fun in a futuristic time line. My name is Quarron Howard, and I am the Game design for the future.

The first piece of technology that was introduced to me was the amazing, ground-breaking GameBoy created by Nintendo. My parents believed that my obsession with video games in my juvenile years would be the cause of my downfall when I would become an adult with no job, no money, and still lived with my parents. I admit that I did have an addiction in the beginning, but over the years it moderated as I became more attracted to what was actually done to develop the devices and programs that once ensnared me. Enrolling into a vocational high school, I selected Programming & Web Development as my choice of trade in order for me to learn more about this extraordinary field of science. Soon I began compiling my own applications, but with a method unorthodox compared to my classmates; I believed that the vivid aesthetics and simple navigation displayed on applications were just as crucial as the tediously compiled, intricate code virtually hidden underneath. With every annual keynote that was broadcasted from numerous Silicon Valley companies, their latest innovations constantly entertained my curiosity. Advancing as an upperclassmen, I entered into challenging courses and incessantly researched innumerable universities as I began to devise a plan of recruitment for the companies of the Bay Area. Enrolling into a university that is passionate about the
... be working hard and putting the time in. Computers are a great tool and have help build our world into what it is today. With every year that passes we as a human species grow more relying on computer technologies’. That is the biggest reason I have chosen to study computers and all the great tools computers offer us. I know there is a job in computer out there for me and for anyone else that is interested in the computer field.
Since the humble origins of the video gaming industry, individuals used it as a challenge of their abilities. In modern day, this industry is just a popular as any other media which exists in the mainstream world. Video games reflect society’s changing views of the normalities of which individuals and/or groups must abide to. This is exemplified in the evolving representation of the queer individuals within the virtual world. As the video game industry came into focus, so did the LGBT rights movement. This illustrates that society’s views on the LGBT community were reflected in the video games made, however, it was rare that such characters existed as protagonists until the twenty first century. Due to the extreme lack of asexual and non-binary
Oliver, a billionaire, living in Starling City is also the vigilante, Green Arrow. Both have the same goal, to right the wrongs of his family and restore Starling City to its former state. He makes a vow to right the wrongs of his family and becomes the vigilante, Green Arrow. He protects his identity by wearing a hood and hiding his in the darkness. A teacher I once had told me “Invest in what you know.” I took that to heart and during a school project involving stock market investing I put what he told me to good use. I sat long and hard thinking about what I did in my everyday life that would help me in this project. I thought about what I ate for breakfast, what I used to do my chores, or even what I used at school but kept coming up empty handed. Then it hit me and I began to scan my resources for topics such as digital technology advances, new technology and devices for 2014, and cutting edge design and animation. What do all these topics have in common; they all pertain to video games, and digital electronics technology.
I have had two part-time jobs involving computer related work, in which I have been able to bring art influences into. When working for Retail Futures, an e-commerce company based in Malvern, I designed their corporate image, and websites for clients such as Coalport and Parcel Force. More recently I have taken another job with a more technical slant, for another e-commerce firm, eplexus. I still do design work, in which I have designed websites and images for "Highwaycode.com", and Anglo Digital a successful venture capitalist firm. Alongside my practical experience, I am also studying Computing at my current college, which aids me to learn the fundamentals of computer usage and programming, an area that I am interested in.
Video games, games operated by computer circuitry, are completely virtual. Besides from peripherals, they operate in a world of their own. Starting in a computer lab at MIT, bored students created a new type of game. In 1962, they developed Spacewar! which is the earliest known digital video game. Since there was no such thing as a video game, they had started a new revolution of modern gaming as we know it today. Then, in 1966, a man by the name of Ralph Baer designed circuitry to display and control moving dots on a TV screen; he was known as the father of video gaming. Baer also helped create the first commercial console, the Magnavox Odyssey, which led to the creation of color graphics in 1981 by IBM (6). Video games can run on many different platforms today, ranging from the PC, to arcade cabinets, consoles, home TV sets, handheld/mobile, and even server based (1). But before we explore the future, we must look into the past to see how the industry started.
Video games have come a long way. They have evolved from the simple game of Pong into a complex, multi-platform, multi-genre, multi-billion dollar industry.
Role-playing games are becoming increasingly popular in this age due the assistance of the Internet. In these types of game a person can assume a character and give this character a personality, physical features and “live” through them. All though in past years “pen and paper” types have dominated the rpg world, now MUDs are making it possible to role-play along with thousands of others A MUD is a network-accessible, multi-participant virtual reality that is primarily text-based. (Bruckman, 1992). Although the term “virtual reality” often refers to a computer-simulated environment that contains varying degrees of audio/visual interface, this form of virtual reality is mainly text-based. Elizabeth Reid further explains by saying:
In society’s current era of technological advancement, video games have gone a long way since they were first created. Video games in the twenty-first century are no longer just toys or junk in the lifestyles of the youth. They have become innovative inventions that not only entertain its users, but also help aid the people in both the academic field and in jobs. The influences that video games bring about in the culture of the youth today are, in fact, not the negative influences that most people think. Video games are actually this generation’s new medium for educating the youth. The information they learn are also mostly positive and useful things that they may apply in their future lives (Prensky 4). In a generation that revolves around technology and connectivity, developers and educators have already been able to produce fun and interesting games that can teach and train people. Video game developers and educators should continue to collaborate in order to create more positive, educational, and appealing games.
Many people believe that video games change people and mislead them to do bad things, such as drugs and alcohol, but it is the opposite. Gaming prevents people from such acts and actually helps to keep them away from the substances. Lots of people, mainly parents, believe that video games harm people so they try to keep their children away from them. In reality, video games make your life better. Video games can provide many benefits to your lifestyle as “numerous academic studies indicate that playing video games has many psychological and even physical benefits” (Guarini). Gaming helps stimulate the brain and advances your problem solving abilities. There are disadvantages to gaming, which is true, but the amount of benefits outweigh them by far.
Virtual reality gives huge benefits in education and helps to improve student engagement. It’s one of the best ways to engage and helps the students to understand the subject through virtual reality system. Especially in the virtual reality game will bring significant impact to teenagers. The major three types of impact are social difficulty (socially impaired), physical and psychological difficulty. Even virtual reality is a great tool to learn, but it is not a universal learning method for all of the educational areas. Too much of virtual reality for students will cause social difficulties because an inescapable aspect of social life is the formation and maintenance of interpersonal relationships (Biocca and Levy 1995). Constantly using virtual reality will cause isolation from the societies because the person already made his or her own social area which only exists in the virtual world. VR will provide a communication environment in which the dangers of deception and the benefits of creativity are amplified beyond the levels that humans currently experience in their interpersonal interactions (Biocca and Levy 1995). It could lead to low self-esteem, feelings of worthlessness and insignificance, even self-destructive acts (Cartwright, 1994). VR games could mindlessly, energy sapping diversion, bring electronic isolation, a playground for immortality (Kershner 1995). Virtual Reality game brings physical and psychological difficulties when they over run and it could be called as cyber sickness. VR interventions were able to increase physical activity capacity and performance in children with CP (Cerebral palsy) or early brain injury. Cyber sickness is one of the physiological impacts durin...
I was dumbfounded to know that games are nothing but programs. Curious to know how to program I developed a serious interest in Computers. This keen interest in mathematics along with a strong liking for computers, and particularly programming, prompted me to choose engineering with Computer Science as my major. This decision gave me ample opportunity to consolidate my creative energies and harness my technical

Gaming has developed very much sense the beginning, from large arcade games to computer and console games, and now smartphones. The question must be asked, where is the gaming industry heading? In current day there are two major branches of gaming, the half that are with consoles and computers, and the other half mobile gaming with smartphones. The console and computer half of the gaming industry tends to have much better graphics, more content, lore, and is the older style of gaming. The smartphone half tend to be short little apps that don’t really have content, or lore for any matter, but are entertaining and do not require a television with them as they can take the games anywhere. This smartphone style of gaming is fairly new, shown by
