The mandatory GCSE’s requirements for this job are a minniumum of a C for English and maths. The purpose behind your GCSE’s would then allow you to enrol in your desired university.Furthuremore this will help you when applying for thuis job because the employer would know whether or not you are capbable depending on the grades you receive. In addition the subjects that I have mentioned will each have their own individual purposes and uses when carrying out the duties of a firefighter. Also the grades required are significant when applying for the role of a firefighter.

Furthuremore for the job role of a firefighter the minimum A-levels required are at least 2 and learning is taken place mostly at the universitys as well as the training. This step is important because it determines weather a candidate is capable of achieveing good grades in their subjects and also the candidate to be more knowledgeable about firefighters.

Step 3 In order to become a qualitfied firefighter the proper training must be received to ensure that the physique of the candiates are at a high enough leve for them to undergo tasks or emergencies when the time arrives. Also their minds and the way they strategies must be at a high level inorder to work well as a unit with other firefighter and move effieciently and coordinatly to carry out the tasks effectively. In addton by gainig experience will aid the candates further develop thier skills and knowledge to enable thme to be more confident when working as a team and with independent tasks.

In addition you may also be presented with possiable job connections while being in university, this is bcause their may be people in university’s running businesses or have jobs linked with the job role of a firefighter, therefore gaining more knowledge from them to enhance your learning. Also a disadvantage would be that the person will be in debt because of student loan of about £27,000 therefore this will discourage people from seeing higher education such as obtaining a diploma. In addition the fees may be to expensive for students as thety are too high to afford. Also their have been reports on BBC news stating that their would be a rise o f fees, which as led to a 17percent of undergraduates. On the otherhand the advantages of route 2 is that the apprentiships are a well structured training programmes which give you opportunities to work towards the qualifications for a firefighter, this will therefore. help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed to becomea firefighter. In addition by getting into employment early means there’s lots of potential for you to progress in the career of a firefighter much quicker, aswell as also beging to earn a good salary much earlier on in your life.
