As Zig Ziglar once said, "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you." Basically, Ziglar is emphasizing how learning can be accomplished, only if you put your mind to it. In “Learning (Your First Job),” Dr. Robert Leamnson shares his strong belief of beginning students entering the post-secondary education. Leamnnson discusses the many ways of learning that can be used in college, such as studying, notes, assignments, and exams. Leamnson continuously discusses how no one will learn unless they want to. Learning is a biological process that relies on the brain. Just like how our bodies need maintenance, the brain does too. College is a place where you learn things that help you later. Leamnson mentions how students are responsible for succeeding in college not by just showing up, but by putting in effort towards the classes they are taking. In order to succeed in the learning of the post-secondary education process, students should be aware of how to make notes, understand what they are studying, and take assignments seriously.
What would it be like to leave your own country, for the better? But what if it wasn’t worth it, giving up your family’s trust into hoping that this foreign place is a second chance to live a new life? Why does it bother you if they come from another country? Are we really the true blue Australian or are we putting everyone into a ‘multicultral sleep’? Good Morning/ Good Afternoon teachers and members of the poetry club. You have just seen just a glimpse of what a common immigrant experiences in this surreal lifestyle, being challenged within their racial and cultural identities from the changed environment, sentiments and perceptions about Australian diversity. The setting in both Lord of the Flies and I Only Came to Use the Phone contributes to the dehumanization of the characters in each of the readings. The settings are both isolated, which is the cause of all the chaos that takes place because when you take a human being out of the comfort of society, they go back to their natural animalistic tendencies in order to survive. Survival of the fittest is present in these quotes. Also, the island archetype plays a huge role in both of the stories.
He suggested we take these opportunities and make something out of them. When we become a learner, we seek out the most opportunities

Throughout the semester, various styles of music and the aspects of culture associated with these styles have been analyzed. Musical elements such as dynamics, texture, form, timbre, melody, instruments, etc., have been used to thoroughly explore each kind of music from different areas of the world, with an emphasis in music from Africa, India and Indonesia. These aspects of music go far beyond just music itself. Culture also plays a huge role in music and the accompanying musical elements. Each country and culture has a different style and distinctiveness that add to what makes the music of that certain culture unique. Music in Africa may differ dramatically from music in Indonesia or India not only due to those certain elements but also due to how it is interpreted by people and what it represents for those people. In addition to this, what one may consider music in one culture may not be music to another. These differences have been made apparent in the several demonstrations that we have been exposed to in class.
When I found out I qualified to be a candidate for the NJHS, I knew I had to take this chance. This group is made up of people who depict leadership, character, citizenship, academic success, and service and I would love to join. These characteristics wouldn't just be valuable for a candidate to have, but for everyone to have to exceed in life. If I were to be in the National Junior Honor Society, it would give me an opportunity to ameliorate my future and motivate me to do better.
The flinders ranges are incredibly famous for its topographical and geological history dating back to the ediacaran time and also the evidence of the customary individuals who occupied the area before the European settlement. The customary owners, the Adnyamathanha, existed in the flinders ranges for tens of thousands of years and the region holds a deep cultural significance to them. The Flinders ranges has been found and occupied for great number of years before the arrival of the Europeans but it was only with the entry of the main explorer Matthew Flinders did recorded history begin. However, the story of the molding of the area and their significance beliefs are said to have been passed on from era to era through what they

The elaborating layers are two, one suitable for a rigorous and rhythmic loud-playing style and one for a more subtle and refined soft-playing style. Therefore, he is forced to relearn certain things that he should have known to begin with. His advice is to us is to pay attention in class and actually learn. I personally think is great advice because a lot of things students are doing are memorizing and they don't exactly know the theory behind what he or she learning.
The reason why he says that is because most often having a teacher not take a lot of interest in what they are teaching or not having the inspiration in wanting to get students excited for learning. What he means by this is that the education system is not letting students discover what they enjoy doing and instead focusing on the important subjects such as math, English and science to name a few.
