Fencing the perimeter of your property is one of the most important jobs because it assures a higher level of security not just for you, but for your family pets as well. 'Bigger is better' actually rings true for fences but there are other ways to guarantee a good level of safety even without large, fancy borders.
Before installing, decide what you want the fence for. Some people are not so concerned about privacy but are more worried about security. Others want to keep wild animals out and some like how a defined perimeter impacts the aesthetics of real estate. Your idea will be the basis for what type of fence you'll end up choosing as well as what materials will be able to give life to the decision.
For decorative purposes
Picket fencing: Safe neighborhoods can afford to have houses fenced in with decorative fencing. An

Leave the rails and posts unpainted for a rustic feel and keep the height low.
Wrought iron panels: Add a touch of class with wrought iron fences separated by stone columns. This is what the houses of old had installed which not only looked great but offered some security to keep children and pets from straying out.
For privacy
Packed stakes: Give no room for outsiders to peek in with packed stakes. Use wood or bamboo to tightly fit into a frame with not even an inch of space to compromise privacy. Set up the stakes end-on-end for a fence that guarantees privacy and looks great as well.
Wooden slats: Closely laid wooden slats can offer a lot of privacy. You can add to it by allowing vegetation like creepers to make their way across. This is a great way to create green space without compromising on privacy.
For security
Security fences are typically more expensive and heavier than other types. They must be able to withstand some amount of force and must be constructed in such a way that they make it difficult for people to get
Claimed land boundaries could only be distinguished from open range by the people that owned the claimed land for quite a while. This would obviously become controversial when one person claimed that they owned this land for so many years, and then another settler decides that they claimed the land first. The invention of barbed wire helped to end the disputes over land by defining claimed land boundaries with fences topped with the sharp, twisted wire. While the invention of fencing brought an end to the idea of an open range for cattle drivers and the romanticized cowboys of the West, it also helped farmers and ranchers define the area of their land. Before the invention of barbed wire, people were forced to use shrubs and other types of plants that could define their land—with the lack of trees on the open plains, it was hard to find raw material to create an actual fence to claim their land. One way the Fence is able to represent the plot of the novel, is because it is the physical barrier that is supposed to keep all safe, has many flaws. The Fence is a wall that is electrified, separating the cured from uncureds. The cureds believe that the wall will always keep them safe from the disease, but as Lena finds out in the first novel, Delirium, it has flaws. The flaws of the Fence, represent the flaws of society that Lena is put into after she escapes into the Wilds. The indomitable-never-giving-up movement of eradicating the cure, love finding it’s way into the cured the cities, and how weak the Government is becoming, are a few of the flaws that the flaws in the fence represent. One other way that the fence is able to represent the plot of Pandemonium, is how it separates one’s life from their past and their present. Once the fence is crossed, there is no coming back to live normally. Raven told Lena over and over after she crossed: “There is no before. There is only now, and what comes next” (Oliver 21). This quote shows that the fence may instil fear on the inside, but on the outside it’s a symbol of letting go. Letting go of the past they left behind and beginning a new life as a new person who is allowed to love. Throughout the whole novel of Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver, the Fence is a symbol of flaws and the symbol of separation between the
As you may know, literal fences are used to keep certain things in or out. Throughout the play, there is only one literal fence. Troy Maxson, who is the main character in Fences, started to build a wooden fence to surround his house because his wife Rose told him to. Troy puts off the fence and takes forever to finish building it. In the play, Rose says, “ Where are you going off to? You been running out of here every Saturday for weeks. I thought you was going to work on this fence” (1164,line 219). He keeps putting off the fence because he doesn’t want to deal with it.

A fence, by definition, is an upright structure that encloses an area of ground to mark a
In the play Fences written by August Wilson, Bono, an African American man living in the 1950s states that, “Some people build fences to keep people out...and other people build fences to keep people in” (Wilson 61). In a well developed essay, explore the rationales that lead one to build a fence, and explain what the fence offers to the people who reside inside it.
The best wall systems are highly resistant to water, wind, mechanical damage, and vermin entry. They are reasonably priced, easy to install, and low maintenance, have great cosmetic appeal, and provide good security. They also provide thermal insulation and have a long life expectancy. Most sidings do only some of these things well. There are no perfect siding materials.
In the play Fences by August Wilson and the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the theme of betrayal pervades the narrative that showcases characters who embody a sense of disloyalty. Tom Buchanan and Troy Maxson share a similarity in their actions, as they both betray those closest to them. This is important because disloyalty can tear a family apart for generations without the ability to reconnect, and it shows the true light of these characters and creates a personality you can never erase. Tom and Troy both go against their loved ones, which eventually leads to the tearing down of their families as well as relationships. In The Great Gatsby, Tom Buchanan's action caused non-fixable damage to his family and friendships, in his disregard for his wife
Method I made a list of possible different shapes to be investigated and assigned measurements to the sides of the shapes making sure that they fit in within the perimeter of 1000 metres of fencing. I then worked out the areas of each shape using known mathematical formulae and techniques such as Pythagoras' theorem to calculate the sides of right angled triangles; using trigonometrical functions (sine, tangent and cosine) to calculate either angles or sides of triangles constructed. Sometimes there are no known exact formulae for working out the area of certain shapes such as octagon and more complex polygons. In such cases, given shapes are split into shapes that have known formulae for areas and the worked out the areas are added together.
Cost is another consideration too. You can buy mesh screens inexpensively and install them yourself if you need to save money. However, if you want to pay for professional installation, a contractor can recommend the best guards for your property and install them for you. DIY Installation If you choose to buy mesh screens from a home improvement store and install the guards yourself, you'll find it is an easy process as long as you can work on a ladder.
1. Install a four-sided, isolation pool-fence with self-closing and self-latching gates around the pool. Such a fence should be at least four feet tall and completely separate the pool from the house and play area of the yard.
Yet the general application of the wall has been used primarily to either wall something out, or to keep something walled in. The earliest walls were made with a human skill called stone masonry which is the skilled stacking of stones to form a cohesive structure. Walls as just a singular structure and not to be considered as part of an enclosed building with a roof, is a general subject that changes details from area to area. Walls the keep things in have generally been used as a way to border up local activities within a certain amount of space. Some more obvious examples of walls as barriers to keep things within the walls include; prisons, walled-in private communities, farm fences, and other examples where people want to maintain their own private space. Walls that can do the exact opposite of keeping substance inside are meant to be obstructions that keep other things outside from a space. National and private borders are an example of walling out unwanted factors. Security fences, walls as defensive locations, and walls simply placed for the sole purpose of obstruction are effective obstacles that humans have been building for centuries.
In order to have an effective physical security program you need to know what you are protecting and why you are protecting it. Physical Security encompasses the protection of people, places, things, and data. Protecting each of these elements requires different pieces of equipment or different avenues but the philosophy of the protection is the same. In this I mean that you are protecting from unauthorized access to the places, people, things, and data.
In the past, our ancestor uses bush materials and trees to build houses. They weave the walls with bamboos and built their roofs with woven leaves or hay. The shape and size of the house depends on the size of the family. If a family has many children, the house built must be big enough to fit everyone. However, globalization has introduced materials such as roofing irons and processed timbers for walls and floors. These materials attracted the people in my village. Some of the people build their houses with these materials because they want to be seen as the highly ranked person in the village so they will be respected in the community. One of the effects of introduced architectural designs is that people lose interest in the traditional material because it might get damaged by pests, unlike the modern materials, the timbers are made in a way that pest or insects cannot attack and damage them. People nowadays find modern methods of construction for building homes more quickly and
