Hook: How does not enjoy to win? The amazing feeling of reward felt after winning. But have anyone ever fail in something and actually learn from it?

Credibility: This event that happened to me has taught me a lesson in the importance of failure. It made me acquire a different meaning of the word failure with a positive connotation. Finally, it made me realized how failure can help you succeeded.

Preview: I would like to share with you how my desire to win a card game led me to understand that winning is not always the key to accomplishing goals.

We were playing on a little table in the living room. I shuffle the cards and hand it to him. I was confident that I was going to win the game. I managed to have only one card left. My little cousin still had four more cards. I was waiting for my turn so I could win the game.
Transition/topic sentence C: The event led me to realized that Because I was so into winning the game I did not realize of the possibility that my little cousin could have me draw cards. Before I my turn came, my cousin put down his four cards all with a draw on it. I had to draw ten cards. My cousin was laughing because he automatically won the game after that. I was in shock to the idea that a six-year-old won me in this game.
Transition/topic sentence D: after the event I tried to play few more times with him but I ended up losing every time. After few failed attempts, I realized that I was too busy trying to make him lose that I did not pay attention to my own cards or the actual game. This is not the first time that I lose in a game.
