You must not stop playing even if you made a mistake. If you stop playing, your music stops. You are not able to perform a wonderful tune if you are afraid of making mistakes. The lesson I learn from piano is never stop, go ahead, and play until the end. It has been 13 years since I took my first piano lesson.
When I was in the 7th grade I wanted to challenge something aside from the piano, like a new sport. At the end, I decided to join the school volleyball team. My team were all amateurs at volleyball, and we were not strong. At a match on our first year, we were completely beaten by a strong team by 25-0.With every loss, we shed tears of frustration and regret. The feeling of frustrated regret gave us the strength to improve our skills. It propelled my team and I to win.
There was a piano competition. I had poured all my effort in perfecting my piece for a whole year. I was able to perform well, but I failed by one point. Initially when the shocking result …show more content…

I felt anxiety at first, because it was the first time for me to go overseas. However, beautiful nature, kind people welcome me warmly. When I play the piano, a lot of students come to me and listen to my music merrily. There was another international student who came from China at the same time as me. She also likes to play the piano and we promised to play together in our study abroad period. We practiced hard and the last day of our music class, we played duet, “Schubert-a military march” in front of the classmates. It was successful. Students told us “Are you sure you met only 4 weeks ago!?” And teacher told us “It's truly amazing that you two, despite coming from different cultural backgrounds, together managed to create a piece of this quality. Thank you for the wonderful performances.” His words moved me from the bottom of my heart. The happiness I felt then was indescribable. I felt as if all the efforts I had made were finally
