How to Grill a Rib-Eye Steak
Steak is a popular food in all western cultures, and it is also widely known in Asian cultures. However, cooking steak is not as easy as you think it is. Demonstrating time management skills is essential when grilling a steak in terms of personal taste. The steps to grilling a delicious rib-eye steak are shown below:
1. You will need the following materials
• salt (depends on what you prefer, whether it is sea salt or kosher salt, either one would do)
• You will need a rib-eye steak, about 3 to 5 centimeters thick
• freshly grounded black pepper
• a grill with coal underneath it
• lighter fluid
• normal lighter
• a normal-sized spatula
• a plate to contain your final product
• Timer
• Thermometer
2. Take your steak out from the fridge, then season it with the salt and black pepper that you prepared, then leave it at room temperature for about 40 minutes.
3. Before the lighter fluid is poured on the coals, place the coal on one side of the grill so that when your steaks are crispy on the outside, the other half of the grill can be used to further cook the inside of the steak. Then pour some lighter

Medium Rare- This is the most preferred doneness of the steak, and it’s also the most popular one. Ask any professional chef, and they will tell you that cooking it medium rare will be the best choice. If you want a hint of red in the middle, pink in the center and brown on the sides with dark brown grill marks on the top, then this will be your option. In an article called “Steak Doneness - How to Cook Any Steak Style” by Derrick Riches, the author quotes, “This steak should have a firm surface but give towards the middle. It will spring back quickly.” (Riches, thespruce.com). This means that the texture of the steak is firm and solid on the outside, but it still gives a soft and tender bite in the middle. The following are the steps to cook the

The digestive system otherwise known as the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) is a long tube which runs from the mouth to the anus. It operates to break down the food we eat from large macromolecules such as starch, proteins and fats, which can’t be easily absorbed, into readily absorbable molecules such as glucose, fatty acids and amino acids. Once broken down, these molecules can cross the cells lining the small intestine, enter into the circulatory system and be transported around the body finally being used for energy, growth and repair.
Is it possible to be an ethical meat-eater? Well, in my opinion, it is not ethical. There are many animals that suffer in the process of being slaughtered. Federal law requires mammals be stunned prior to slaughter. Typically, electric current is used to induce a heart attack or seizure. Then a captive bolt gun is used to deliver a blow to the skull or to shoot a rod into the animal’s brain. Eating meat is not ethical; animals suffer, they are tortured, because there are not enough Federal regulations protecting the animals, and there are environmental issues, as well as the health issues concerning the consumption of meat.

There are many different types of nutrients in red meat that usually work together to make the body healthy. Too much of certain nutrients can cause more harm to the body than good. The following vitamins are found in red meat:
People love to eat meat. For over two million years, humans have relied on eating meat in order to survive or simply just because they enjoy the taste. Early humans had more powerful jaws and larger teeth and relied on meat as one of their main sources of food. As evolution took place and humans evolved, they developed smaller teeth and were only able to eat the meat if it was cooked. With humans evolving and being able to survive on foods other than meat, meat does not have to necessarily be a part of human diet anymore. Although many people have opted for a vegetarian lifestyle, most people still continue to eat meat and do not consider it a cruel act. Many have also stopped eating meat due health risks and environmental concern. Whether

Food is a major part of everyone’s everyday life. It’s hard to imagine life without the chocolate cake on your fingers or a carne asada taco in your mouth. Enjoying delicious desserts and fast food seem extremely magnificent to eat and spend money buying them. Although, there have been many controversies in the United States on how it’s the largest country with the most obesity regarding children, which affects their health, many people are still going throughout their day snacking. Many people in America are having full course meals with thousands of calories in one sitting not knowing the short term or long term side effects that are going to take a huge toll on their lives. Food is delicious, but it comes with a secret behind the savoriness/sweetness.

Every person has the ability to make their own choice of whether to eat meat or not. However, eating meat is directly tied to negative health effects, pollution leading to a depletion of ozone, and the depletion of hundreds of thousands of acres of land “wasted” on animal production when they could be used to solve the hunger crisis or lower emission levels. What humans eat is no longer a matter of choice; it has become a matter of life and death. Literally, the future of the whole planet rests on the decision of whether or not to eat meat. If humans chose to eat less meat the world that wouldn’t have to suffer the consequences (outlined above.) Vegetarianism is one possibility, as is Veganism; however the world would be
