A Good reputation is worth more than money. in the book the Crucible we learn that a person's reputation inside a small community is worth more than having a lot of land and money. In the Crucible, the names of people were what only they had and to lose that meant they had nothing else left they could hold to themselves as we saw with john proctor in the final act. Over the past two weeks our class has been reading this book. we have taken time to comprehend what is actually going on and why the people are doing what they are doing. Mrs.Anderson and Mr. Mimps have helped us along the way by narrating, and having us students take turns reading parts of each character. Thus giving us more ways to better understand what is taking place in the book.

In this paragraph we are going to talk about how Mr.Parris reputation was at risk after he found all the girls in the woods casting spells to marry the boys they had their eyes in. Abigail williams and some other girls were in the woods playing around with some spells trying to get the boys or men they wanted to marry them and after Mr.Parris caught them all dancing and some of the being naked in the woods he called witchery and abigail used this trying to get goody proctor john proctor's wife hung so she could then marry john this helps describe that people are also willing to risk their reputation so they can achieve what they want.
