After a long day in school and studying, every student needs a night off to just relax and enjoy a meal at a restaurant. In this modern time, some aspects of a restaurant can be the deciding choice. Many choose their restaurant of choice based on either those they are with, their personal, cultural appetite, their routine eating habits or their mood. Some of these preferences are similar yet others are the deciding differences. Two common franchise restaurants that pose differences are Applebee’s and Olive Garden. These two restaurants present their differences in environmental and food options causing a choice between them.
There is a specific order to the ingredients placed on a Subway sub, which must be adhered to unless the customer requests otherwise. The cheese goes on the sub first. Then the meat (obviously the meat is excluded for vegetarian subs) is placed on top of the cheese. Sauces such as mustard and mayonnaise go above the meat. Vegetables go on
This fare is even lower than the average fare that we pay today for a 30 day unlimited metro card. If one does the math, that’s $1.96 in 2009 dollars. Today the 30 day unlimited metro card brings fare down to $1.25. Altogether, I consider the subways to be a profitable deal. I mean how else one can get from Inwood Country Club to Rockaway Beach for less than the cost of a Starbucks

Railroads can be referred to as the first big business, and the first industry to develop management bureaucracy (Ogburn 39). Railroads were a vital part of early American history during the 1800s-1860. The development of Railroads was one of the most important phenomena of the Industrial Revolution. Railroads brought social, economic, and political change to the country (Stover 26). In the United States a turnpike era and then a canal era had immediately preceded the coming of the railroads, which proved to be fast, direct, and reliable in all weather. After 1830 the railroads grew so quickly that within a decade their mileage surpassed that of the canals (Hollingsworth 28).
It combines the benefit of both strategies. The strategy requires the basic components for the product are already manufactured however, the only process left is assembling. Subway’s sandwiches are produced in standard parts to which variable options of fresh ingredients are added according to meet the customer specifications, process illustrated in (Appendix 4). Implementation of this type of approach within the operation enables the company to achieve the desired level of flexibility through offering both sets of quickness and customization to their
Also fast food places tend to stay open a lot later. Almost on every corner of the street there are fast food restaurants. Their prices are low their hours are long and their calories are higher. Threats – The ever changing health-consciousness attitudes of the market could have a serious impact on Coca-Cola. This is a dominant threat because people are constantly trying to change their eating and drinking habits. Social media could exploit the unhealthy side of Coca-Cola’s products and could potentially threaten the status and success of sales (Tanner, 2013).
Name and location of the business As I mentioned earlier, I would love to start a business named Taco Bus, which involves serving various Mexican dishes. We see advertisements for food everywhere. Whether you’re reading a magazine, the paper, watching television, or just driving down the freeway and seeing all the billboard advertisements, ads are everywhere. The ads you see for food catch the viewer’s eye. Like a thesis statement catches a reader’s eye. For example; the Doritos advertisements they use during the super bowl. A few years ago they had an advertisement with a little boy whose mother brought home her boyfriend, and when the boyfriend reaches for a Dorito the little boy slaps him and says, “you keep your hands off my momma, and you keep your hands off my Doritos.” The advertisement was saying that the Doritos were as important as the little boy’s momma was. He was going to protect his mom and the Doritos because they were so good he didn’t want to share. Everyone loves their mom and to compare the two together or put them together catches a viewer’s eye to say hey they are as important as your mom. Social Media “manipulates” people in a way to make them think that they need that certain food product. They make food seem more important than they actually

Many people who say that fast food chains is the main cause of obesity in America because there are plenty of fast food restaurants on every block with very few healthy options ("Do Fast Food Restaurants Contribute to Obesity?"). Fast food business are very easy to find and offer quick service, but there are other options that are healthy, especially in urban areas. Restaurants such as Panera offer a range of items that are healthy and offer a quick service for those on a schedule. In addition to these healthier options, it is also possible to pack their own snack or meal. People often become lazy when it comes to just cooking their meals at home. This choice allows the customer, to control what they eat.
But with the change of taste and preference, fast food chains like Windy, Taco Bell, and McDonald's have introduced SALAD into their menus. This preference is not stopping with salads. In 2002, McDonald’s introduced great tasting new products including premium salads, n salads plus menu; Chicken McNuggets made with white meat; Fish McDippers; Chicken Selects; and new breakfast offerings like the McGriddle sandwiches. Here as a fast food chain, McDonald did not have to introduce new dishes in their menus but with the impression and image in the market analysis, of increasing demand and changing preference in tastes and dishes has made them bring the changes.... ...
First, fast food and home-cooked meals differ in the time. The people choose fast food because they do not have time to prepare a proper meal and it can be prepared very quickly. Jekanowski, Binkley, and Eales (2001) claimed that fast food outlets’ main sales point is convenience. The fast food companies open a lot of branches in the different area so that the customers just need a few minutes to buy a set of fast food even it is complete with a drink.
