There are many theories about how people view motivation. Two of those theories are evolutionary perspective and drive reduction theory. Evolutionary perspective involves people doing tasks or behaviors based on their instincts. This could mean that I do things because it 's my instincts and not because I feel the need to get things done for other reasons. Drive reduction theory means that a drive compels someone to reduce a need. When it 's late at night my drive may be tiredness so I reduce the need by going to bed. I feel the drive reduction theory applies more about my need for motivation. My future career would also rely on motivation. I would need the motivation every morning to wake up and get out of bed to get ready. Then I would need the motivation to actually go to work to get things done.
