I'm thankful (no mom not the pie) that's an inside joke. Anyways, I'm thankful for my family, friends and fremily or framily or how ever u call it.
First off my family. I couldn't survive without my stubborn mom and myself stabbing each other at the throats everyday. What I have realize is there's a lot of kids who's parents don't care about them. But my parents do. They doubt me on purpose because of my stubborn personality. My parents know that I'm going to do anything in my will just to prove them wrong. So when they doubt me, they want me to work harder and just find a way to prove them wrong. And example of this was when they thought I couldn't achieve they grades they expected but they didn't realize how hard work I put in to achieve a 3.8 Gpa.

My friends are the best thing that's happened to me. Friends come and go but some stay. My best friend Keeghan is an example. Me and him were everything we would hang together almost everyday for 5 straight years. Once I found out I was moving to Texas he was the main reason I was devastated. Him and skiing because skiing is a passion me and him share. I can assure you all of you can relate to the Devastation both of us felt because it happened to all of us in this room too. But now as I'm 1,000's of miles from him he wants talks to me everyday and wants to know if I can go up there every week. This bond is a bond I hope we can cherish for the rest of our lives so I'm thankful that God created this
Thanksgiving break a bust,I thought. The fall air swept through as my sister and I kept playing volleyball. My mom came bursting out,she was trying to catch her breath as I questioned,
My parents have always pushed me to be better than they were. They knew that if I wanted to be successful I needed to go to college. In highschool, they always made me put my education before anything else. My parents didn’t go to college so they would always tell me to not make that mistake because their lives could have been easier if they would of just invested a few more years into their education. They would also tell me about all the opportunities that missed out on because they decided not to further their education.
I’m thankful for child labor reforms that were developed throughout history allowing me not to have to work in such harsh conditions. These reforms allow me to obtain an education to strive in society today.
My friends are very important to me and without them I do not think I would be where I am today. My second real friendship began in the middle of my freshman year of high school. I had been introduced to someone who later became one of my two best friends, Michelle Zabuska, by someone in my Theater class. Some time later, as a result to a major fight caused by a mutual friend of ours, I realized that I had to be careful with whom I trusted. It was Michelle who pointed out a quote from one of our favorite television shows, Felicity, that I realized she was my true friend in every aspect of the word. I started to look at my...
My friends were some of the best things that happened to me. A jovial, opinionated band of smart girls, we stuck together all through Joyce Kilmer and Ramapo Ridge. For four years they were one of my life’s biggest constants.
The first and most important thing I am thankful for, is my family. Whenever I need advice from an experienced person in life, I can always look to my grandpas or grandmas. I’m also thankful for they love that my parents give to me, even now. Whenever my parents need ideas for a party, or
A tenet of Buddhist philosophy for centuries, self-compassion has recently emerged as a promising intervention in Western Psychology with the potential to yield greater life satisfaction, social connectedness, emotional intelligence, and happiness while minimizing anxiety, depression, shame, fear of failure, and burnout (Barnard & Curry, 2011). In Buddhist tradition, a self-compassionate individual responds to his/her personal suffering with wisdom, loving-kindness, and mindfulness that extends beyond the self to all others who are suffering (Reyes, 2011). The Western definition of self-compassion derives mainly from the work
One of the things I’m thankful for is my family. I’m thankful for my mom because she never grounds me even if I get in trouble. She works for a long time to help support us. She also does lots of housework. I’m thankful for my dad because he works past midnight to support us.
Who is someone you are thankful to have in your life and why are you thankful for them? One of the people in my life that I am thankful for is my dad. He is thoughtful, kind, and caring. That is just some of the reasons why I am thankful for him. My dad is a good man, he always does what is asked of him, he is outgoing for any and all people.
I am immensely thankful for someone who has been right beside me through all the peaks and valleys of life...my dog. These wonderful pets are intelligent, loyal, caring, and have been scientifically proven to boost the mental health of several. In other words, they stop at nothing to augment a person’s happiness. All dogs offer amazing companionship as they are always ecstatic to accompany me on any task, for example, going on a walk outdoors or even just lounging around at home. Also, I am thankful how growing up with a pet has strengthened my responsibility skills.
I am grateful for my life in many ways and for many reason, I was born 5 weeks premature and one of twins. Though my twin did not survive long enough for me to know him it gave me a purpose to try new things. Whenever I am scared of a new experience such as snow-boarding I think about how lucky I am to be alive and well. This thought helps me to spread my wings and embrace the unknown. Even simple things make me feel thankful, such as running in the rain or taking a walk with my dog or just a lazy Sunday afternoon with myself makes me think how great it is to be alive and here. I have always delight in the small moments in life and to think that they could never exist for me is depressing. Furthermore, being able to share my thoughts and feeling with people I love is something that brings me great joy.
I had a different best friend almost every year during my childhood. I met my best friend when I was 3. I moved into a new house and met Crista the first day that I moved in. When she was in fourth grade her family decided to move. During this time, she had been the main person that I hung out with, so this was a huge change fore me. So I spent basically a year and a half with very few friends. I moved to a new school half way through sixth grade. I didn’t ever find a real place there. I met my best friend Stacey when I first moved to my new middle school. We stayed friends throughout middle school, but she had a lot of family problems and she ended dup moving away and I didn’t even know she was leaving until after she was gone. In a time like middle school for something like that happen is awful. I got depressed after that happened and I ...
Friendship is a relationship that all the individuals can create by themselves. Though it is not a god gifted relationship like that of the relationship of a mother, father, sister, brother or any of the other family but still it is one of the best relations an individual can possess. People who have true friends consider themselves as the luckiest individuals on earth.
Friendships are one of the most important things you can get out of life. It’s something that everyone has to have because without it we would all go insane. Just think if no one talked to each other and we never made friends, this world would be a ticking time bomb. Studies say human need friendships and love to survive. So friendship is a big part of your life.
Good friends are wonderful. They're there to support you and to help you. They make you laugh and feel good. I'm lucky, I have three very good friends. Sure, I have lots of other friends. But these three people, I would take a bullet for.
