Today, we are witnessing an increasing number of social networking sites. Social networking is a medium of interaction between friends, family and even a stranger, and includes sharing information, photo or video with others. In addition, there is no doubt that social networking changes people habits, and how they become interact with each other. In our paper we will argue the social networking risks that poses major for teenager; Moreover, we are going to discuss the history of social networking. First, social network that allows people to exchange of emails was established in 1979 called CompuServe. It can give us a healthy awareness about things we do not know much about. For instance, many people like to go online to search for what they want to know, because they believe that the Internet will give them the answer. Nowadays, teens and adults spend a lot of time using social networking sites. Specifically, sometimes people use social networking sites to develop their health Knowledge. Many teenagers use online social network to get advice. One studies show that “teens look to social networks as a key source of information and advice” and it gives a statistic number about that; there are 57% teens that use social networking sites (“Impact,”n.d). In fact, there are many advices for health on the Internet and we find it easily. Because of, finding information available in the Internet, people prefer to use online social network than using books. Moreover, many teenagers like to learn a new exercise from YouTub. Nielsen (2009) point out that 63% of teens who watch online video. Also, they use You Tub to watch funny videos or listen to music if they are sad. Moreover, teenagers use social networking sites to answer their question about health. There are about 64% accurate health answers that teenagers find form health sites. As we mentioned earlier, most of the active user to social networking are teenager. In fact, it has a huge impact on their lives. In other words, almost each teenager has a profile on each social networking site and sometimes even more than one profile. Actually, they spend over 3 hours per day on the social networking sites. This mean the teenager spending more time with their electronic devices rather than with family; for example, when I set with my family watching TV or eating lunch, in reality I see my sister spending time on her phone or iPad rather than talking with us or my parents. This reduces important family connection. And they become less socialize with others in real life (De Marcellis-Warin, N., Sanger, W., & Warin, T., 2015). One risk associated with social networking sites on teens concerns mental and physical health. For example, a study in Norway states that almost of teenagers 63 % are logged on to Facebook on daily basis and 40 % loge on several times in one day. In addition, it also shows that users become addicted to social networking. In particularly. Sampasa-Kanyinga noted that the "use of social networking sites can lead to poor mental health, and poor mental health may be a reason why teenagers use social networking
