Educational Leadership Personal Statement

I would like to apply to the Master’s Program in Educational Leadership. My goal is to continue my studies and successfully achieve my career goal of becoming a College educational leader.

I always realized that education is the key element of my successful future. I received my Bachelor’s degree from one of the best Universities in my town. I was working part-time during all five years at the University as a math and English language tutor and later on I worked as Dean’s personal assistant.

My career in USA started with part-time position as Student’s Technician at International department in Phoenix Community college, Arizona. Later on, I received a position of Brazilian Program administrative assistant. Since February 2015 have been

working at the Veterans Center as a School Certifying Official. My job is very broad and challenging. It includes admissions and enrollment process, advisement and counseling, school retention and supervising our work and study workers. I have been working at Maricopa Community Colleges for almost two years now, and I am committed to pursuing a career as an educational professional, and making progress toward earning a Master’s degree in this field with an excellent grade point average. I want to become this person who makes a difference in other people’s life.
Additionally, I have also been active in my college and community outside of the office, serving as Gateway International Club adviser, “Phi theta kappa” member and adviser, volunteering at “Arizona Mission of Mercy”, “Back to School Clothing drive” and “St. Mary’s Food Bank.”
I aim to be the best at what I am doing. To receive a Master’s Degree in Education has been a long-term goal for me. With a Master’s degree I will be able to apply for a leadership college position. I chose Fort Hays online degree because of its high rating and very affordable tuitions.
Education is a fast changing environment now. There have been several groundbreaking developments that have had a great impact on educational technology in the last few decades. I want to be the person who not only use new technologies and apply other people’s knowledge and achievements to my work, but I plan to be the one who creates them in areas of administration, policymaking, and research.E
