My MBTI type is ESTJ (Executive personality). ESTJ personality type is said to be extraverted thining with introverted sensing. Since T is for thinking is with the “head”, not the “heart”, I'm not usually biased. It bothers me when I see people take side or favoritism in the workplace or any decision making because I believe in treating everyone fairly. I would treat the people fairly, even if do not like them. I can distinguish between personal and professional. I enjoy interpersonal interactions. Sometimes, I can be overly confident, and it can be taken us arrogant, but usually, I’m just being me, and not trying to be mean or anything. In communication, my style is direct and targeted. I do not hesitate to speak without pretense, and
Within the Jung Typology Test (JTT) it states that my type of personality is introverted, sensing, feeling and judging. The results indicated I am an introvert over extrovert, the score showed 56%. Talon Kindred Miss Pearson English 10C 20 May 2024 To Kill A Mockingbird In the story “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee, a black man by the name of Tom Robinson is accused of hurting and raping a woman, Mayella Ewell. Atticus Finch is representing him and helping him fight his case. Tom Robinson is a prime example of this because he is being treated less than because he’s black and now that he is in the court system he is being treated poorly because of the things that are being said about him. Black people are treated as less than and not as successful as white people because of their skin color and in this society it is okay to treat black people poorly.
My results said that I have an ISFJ personality. My scores were introvert (56%), Sensing (31%), Feeling (16%), and Judging (44%). The assessment stated that ISFJs frequently find themselves in occupations that either involves a lot of dealings with other people and require thoroughness and persistence. They work in organizations of various sizes and industries, where as a rule they work with people. Very often ISFJs recognize their potential in healthcare (nurse, patient care, and medical services, as well as administrative jobs) and several community care organizations. I do agree with some of the Jung Typology Seal assessments. I agree with being an introvert since I am a person that is reserved and to myself half of the time, but, on the other hand, I do like to serve others. I do not agree that I am overworked. If I get to the point to where I feel overworked, I will go to my boss and discuss the matter, so that I can get help with my work before resulting in some of extent psychosomatic illnesses. I agree with the part about working best with a small group or one-on-one situation. I also agree with the traditional careers for ISFJs attitude that include: teaching, social work, most religious work, nursing, clerical and secretarial work of any kind, and some
Upon completion of the 16 Personalities personality assessment my results revealed to me that my personality type is “Executive Personality (ESTJ, -A/ -T) (Neris Analytics Limited, 2017)”. The values of honesty, dedication and dignity are very important for individuals with this personality type. Executives usually counsel or advise other people. After taking the online personality test I learned that I am an INTJ personality. I decided gratitude would be my highest terminal value. If I can strive to be grateful for all that I have and all that I am, I believe this would lead to helping me achieve all other terminal values. Providing service for other living things is something that I feel is important for the survival of our external world, which is why it is ranked second. My third value is wisdom. In today’s world, there are so many problems that I will not be able to resolve or fix, that I have to have the wisdom to be able to know what I can and can not do, and know that this is okay. I also believe it is of great value to strive for wisdom when I interact with people. Rather than reacting with feelings and passion, responding with wisdom could achieve a lot more from others, and ultimately allow me to achieve my goals. I did not rank happiness any higher because although I believe it to be of vital importance to our lives, I believe that if you do not strive for other key values, then striving for happiness has the potential to become a selfish or destructive act.
ENFP also known as the campaigner is my personality type (16 personalities). I never realized what my personality type was until after finally doing this paper. It was a very eye opening assignment and made me realize and understand my personality type so much more. It’s exciting to know how I work. It amazes me at how I represent the ENFP exactly how it’s described, it’s crazy. I feel like I can better myself now, knowing that that’s just normal or my personality type. Before I would question myself on why I could never focus on just one task at a time, I would always want to explore more before I was finished. Now that I know that’s normal, I can work on improving myself. The campaigner represents a true free spirit.

An individual’s personality is the basis of who they are and generates how they react to and behave in different situations. Personality testing is used in workplaces to identify whom to hire, promote and even put into teams. Personality testing is efficient in being able to determine which employees will perform best in certain roles, and this can remove some stress from employers. Personal testing has been shown to help improve the quality of employees who are in the workplace. The method of assessing personalities that will be examined in this essay is the Big Five taxonomy method. The two main questionnaires, which are used to determine these traits, are the Sixteen Personality Factor (16PF) Questionnaire and the NEO personality test. A participant’s results from a personality survey will be analysed to determine what their results mean for current and future workplace behaviour. Finally, this essay will review a case study and it will be explained why personality testing should be used in the workplace and what other work contexts these tests can take place in.
