Driving by definition is the control and operation of a motor vehicle (in this case, a car). Driving a car can be very helpful for people; but can negatively affect the environment. Before thinking of owning a car, one needs to get his or her license. In Puerto Rico, to get a license, a person must have 16 years of age. Once a person in sixteen, he or she must take the theory test, which consists of twenty (20) questions about the fines, laws, and rules of driving. Then, he or she must wait six (6) months until he or she can take the practical test. It evaluates a person’s ability to drive, change lanes, make U turns, and parallel park. After a teenager gets a license, the next thing is to get a car. Owning a car means having independence and freedom. Even though driving can be very positive, it can also turn into something completely the opposite. One of the main benefits of owning a car is convenience. A person can go to and from work, go shopping, go to the doctor, go to parties, go to practically everywhere without having to depend either on other people or on public transport...
