INTRODUCTION
Volleyball is a team sport in which two groups of six players are differentiated by a net. Every group tries to score points by establishing a ball on the other group's court under composed principles. Each team tries to score points by establishing a ball on the other group's court under composed guidelines. It has been a piece of the official project of the Summer Olympic Games since 1964.
Volleyball players need to execute their skills correctly in order for them to become good volleyball players. In this assignment we will discuss drills that are needed to improve four core skills in volleyball. Those skills are: spike, set, dig and serve.
SETTING

Once the ball is served, the player needs to immediately get on the court and be ready to receive the ball. With this exercise, a player sprints to retrieve the ball and hands it off to the next player. If the serve goes into the nets or out of bounds, the player must sprint to get the ball than serve it again, repeating this drill until the serve is successful
Additionally, to be an effective volleyball server, it comes from having a strong core and legs to power the ball over the net, to build this base, volleyball players need to incorporate strength training that will work out abs, back, shoulder and legs and those workouts includes snatches, jumps, push-ups, pull ups and squats that will give an athletes a total body routines to strengthen the muscle and the power on the court.
SPIKING
Successful volleyball spiking and volleyball blocking is what every high school, club and college team is looking for and teach most of the times. This drill is also great for working on knee and hip stability with the catch portion of the drill and the 3 seconds static hold at the bottom. Jump height can be increased by continually working for maximal height during the jump and stability can improve by keeping proper alignment in a static hold at the bottom
But at first what a player needs to do in this drill, the player must put on Kbands. Then the player needs to begin with the left foot forward and left knee bent. The knee should never be in the front of toe throughout the entire drill even during landings. The player needs to drop the right foot back into a spread out lunge position while keeping back straight the entire time. Players needs to hold this position for 3 seconds, the players need to sing arms forward while jumping as high as possible and switching legs
Now same thing applies to the right foot as it must be forward with the right knee bent and the left foot back behind the body with a slightly bent knee just above the floor. The volleyball players should make sure to land in the hip and not on the knee. they need to make sure they jump as high as possible in every jump to increase vertical and control the body to get the possible balance and result from this
I have played volleyball for 5 years. I have played school volleyball for five years, and club volleyball for four. Throughout my years of playing, I have recognized a significant difference between club volleyball and school volleyball. I have played for two clubs in my four years of playing club. The first two years, I played for a club named Platform Elite. The last two years, I have played for Iowa Select, and this year I am playing my club season with Infinity X. Personally, I prefer club volleyball over school volleyball. Club volleyball and school volleyball can be compared in three different categories: price, competition, and “politics” within the sport and its’ players.
Volleyball is a great sport, it is very fun!! The attire for volleyball is a jersey, shorts, knee pads and special volleyball shoes. Some equipment that you need to play volleyball with, first of all you need a net, ball, 6 players on a court, court, referee,
Volleyball represents my most meaningful commitment not just because I have invested so much into it, but also because it it’s a passion of mine and has been a part of my life since elementary school. The impact my coaches and teammates have had on my life has helped make me the confident and determined individual I am today. Volleyball also takes up a lot of time and there are many sacrifices that come with the sport and playing on a team. To keep up my skills, I have had to give up a lot of my free time and parts of my summer. Balancing school with practices was also a challenge, but participating in one of my passions made it worthwhile. I have persevered through difficult times and learned new lessons along the way, so there is nothing that could make this sport less meaningful to me. (148)
Finally, Basketball and Volleyball are two very popular sports and they are played by both genders. They both have followers and fans, but one of them has a greater amount of fans than the other one. There are many similarities in these sports such as the audience, followers and fans, and that both sports are played by boys/men and girls/women. Despite of having these similarities, they also have differences that distinguish them from each other, too. Basketball is a recognized sport from around the world and its popularity has been growing over the years compared to Volleyball, that is not very popular and it is not a game that people would choose to play with others. In addition to this difference, the physical contact in these sports is important, too.
I practically was born with a ball in my hands, and whether it was bumping the ball around the house or knocking over things that just happened to be in my path, I was always with my precious volleyball. My family is also rooted into into the sport. After my mom’s high school team at Central won the state championship, she went on to play at Southeast Missouri. She has been an inspiration to me, and at 10 years old I began to play club volleyball thanks to her. Being one of the youngest on my team, I never got much playing time, but that year of watching and learning helped me settle into a team the year

Pacheco’s love for the game comes from so many aspects. Whether it’s the adrenaline rush of each play, the team aspect of the game, working together and adapting to each other’s personality, or the challenge of keeping her mental game strong. Volleyball has given more to

To do this, I will need to attend every practice and practice on my own every day. I can get better at digging and hitting so I can prepare for the tournaments. Also, I need to talk a lot in games. If I communicate a lot, my team will work better together. The most important thing I need to do to win our school volleyball league is to be a team leader. I will go to every practice, talk a lot in games, listen to my teammates, work hard and help fellow teammates if they need any help. We may be a small volleyball team in the top division, but if we work hard, we can place top in our

For myself the largest barrier would have to be in the institutional level as Redlands College has coaches to teach students basic drills. However the College lacks high level coaches and this makes it difficult for players to advance to a higher and more professional volleyball standard as the teachers can only teach them as much as they know. The most immediate problem I am faced with are access and and equity, however if the necessary strategies are put in place it will help me and the students at Redlands College overcome this barrier, because these obstacles have limited my participation and will have to be overcome to increase my future
Next to the court, under the shade of a large oak tree, sits Ali. Ali is a man of about 55 who attends the gathering every week. He used to be a professional volleyball player, and now spends his time watching the game at a youth level, and giving advice to novices and experienced players alike. He watches pensively from under the shade of the large branches, quietly munching on his turkey sub-sandwich. Every few minutes Ali yells wisely to a young player. He says, “Keep your jump approach in stride,” and “Remember to cup your hand before you make contact, then follow through.”
This research task requires that, through participation in skill learning and game play during the volleyball unit we have been required to observe and analyse the characteristics of skilled performers; receive feedback on weaknesses in technique and develop and participate in training activities that could correct these weaknesses.
Volleyball is the kind of sport that can be played with multiple people. For example, it's more about working together to become a better team in trying to accomplish things together. Especially, when having fun with friends and meet new people. It can also be about teamwork, working together, trying your best, and saying good job to the other team when they win/lose or they think that they did bad. It’s also about having fun while playing even if you lose and it can be even more fun when you win.
