Have you ever been to Disney world? Well they say It’s a place where dreams come true. Disney World is where a lot of families travel during special occasions like Christmas, birthdays, New Year's, thanksgiving, Valentine's day, the fourth of July and even easter. This amazing place has been around for many years and has allowed people to have fun while staying there for a short amount of time and make memories off of it that they will take with for the rest of their lives. I had traveled to Disney with my family for a whole week. We got to explore new things that we wanted and that were not in New jersey Amusement parks. There were different sections of the amusement park, But not in nj. For example Six Flags is just one park with rides …show more content…
and different games to play. Disney world made me keep memories I will remember forever. One Night, My sister pointed to a tall building that was titled “ House of terror “ my sister jumped up with excitement saying, “ Let's go, this ride is nothing “. Just like every other kid. I believed what she said and continued to walk towards the ride with fear crawling up my spine. As we approached the building a lady asked for our passes before entering. One part of me was saying “ don't do this, this will affect you forever, but then the other side of me was saying “ don't be a wimp”. As I saw kids younger than me come on the ride I thought to myself, it can't be that bad. The line full of excited people filled up until most people were outside. A man with a long black jacket directed us to a dark room with TV's. “ Good evening “, the man stated welcome to “house of horror,” he told us some facts about the twilight zone stating how a family disappeared after entering an elevator.
My stomach began to growl. My obstacle was ahead of me which was the elevator, sweat dripped down my forehead. What have I got myself into I thought? , Why didn't I just tell my family that I didn't want to go on this ride. I began to hear screaming, from the previous riders I wanted to turn back but it was too late. It was my turn the elevator was filled with 6 seats in each three rows, my feet walked to the seat closest to the bars by the elevator. As soon as I could try to figure out how to keep myself calm a “ghost “ outside the elevator appeared. I saw a familiar face, then I thought back to the intro, “ it's the family member who disappeared “ I whispered to my dad. After I saw the ghost my heart beat faster and faster, I was usually scared of bugs, but today it was ghost. The elevator moved closer but before I could look to see the ghost the elevator dropped leaving my stomach with butterflies. Clear circular tears dripped down my face I couldn't believe this, my sister said this ride wasn't bad but I realized that this was the worst memory I will remember at Disney. As soon as I thought the ride was over another scream came out of my throat. I knew another drop was gonna come, I didn't even care anymore. I closed my eyes as I felt all the drops make my butterflies
worst. “ Ebony are you okay ? “ my mom questioned. No response came out of my mouth, I couldn't believe what I had gotten myself into. As we exit the ride we approached the picture area. My face was priceless, even though I did regret getting myself into the situation of this terrifying ride I had a good laugh and faced a fear I never knew I had.
The rides is one of the best reasons to go there. There a lot of huge rides that are fun and thrilling to ride on with your family. Some of the biggest attractions are Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Harry Potter and the escape from Gringotts, ect. Universal Studios Orlando is not for little kids (1-6) that are under the height of 32cm or taller. If you are taller than that you can ride at least a few
Epcot is one of the busiest places at Disney World. There are people lined up to get in. Off in the distance, anyone can see the big globe, which has a ride inside of it. It is a huge park. This park shows everything from USA to Asia. This is something many people enjoy about this park.
Most people, when they think of Disney, they think of “the happiest place on earth.” Walt Disney was the one to start all of this with all of his achievements in movies, television, and eventually the theme park. Disney created a character who’s
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
Everything in the parks is done for family, joy, and, of course, magic (Elias 1). Milt Thurman is a Disney fan that has said that Disney “is a nice, safe place to be” and that “it’s not today; it’s not tomorrow, its forever. It’s just a great place (Stein 6).” Whenever somebody walks into the parks, there is always a feeling that is great. The feeling of love, compassion, hope, and belief in the future are the feelings that people get when walking into the parks each time. This feeling comes from the cast members and the park as a whole. As people walk into the parks, the first thing seen is the bright colors, smiling faces of everyone, and also the characters. The whole idea of having fun, being excited, having hope and falling in love is what everyone wants (Stein 3). People instantly fell in love with Disneyland because it took them into a world of fantasy for a chance to relax and become part of the stories associated with their childhood memories of watching the Disney movies (Stein 1). At the same time, the art of family-friendly storytelling remains the core (Stein 2). When Walt was creating and designing Disney, he had many goals he wanted to meet. All he wanted was the greatest creative effort, not the most efficient operation. He also believed that giving people the right motivation was the best and only way to accomplish his dream. Disney had an obsession with the park, and always looked at it
According to a Themed Entertainment Association global attractions attendance report, 53,727,000 people visited the Walt Disney World and 27,238,000 people visited the Disneyland American theme parks respectively. Collectively, these United States Disney owned resort parks make up the first, second, sixth, seventh and eighth most visited theme parks in the world under the same report (Robinett, John). Therefore, with such a large popularity and attendance of these two resorts, families visiting may wonder, which one is an overall better option to visit for their family? To understand the reason for the comparison, it would first be beneficiary to learn about the general similarities and differences of the two parks. Both Walt Disney world and
The first major difference is who is really going to get the most from these attractions. Coral reefs are rare, but they do exist. For example, someone from Australia who snorkels a lot has probably seen the Great Barrier Reef an absurd amount of times and probably wouldn't care much about the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. On the other hand, Disney World is different enough from each of Disney's other parks to be special and worth visiting for most people. The second major difference is how much there is to do at these attractions.
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
We checked into the hotel and I was amazed by the sheer size of the lobby. I suddenly heard a screeching noise and spun around just in time to see a monorail inside the hotel. I had never seen something so cool before. I started to beg my parents to get a ride on the monorail, unfortunately, we had to go up to our room and get situated. The good thing was that I was going to have the whole day to do fun things as it was only about 10 o’clock in the morning. We traveled up the glass paneled elevator which offered a 180-degree view overlooking the entire lobby of the hotel. Our room was very nice and comfortable. I was hoping the room would be themed but unfortunately, it was not. It was still very

Each country of Epcot styled like the original land, sold their own, authentic, but common food from their country, as well as distinct, unique souvenirs. Both of these parks were as surreal as can be, and a masterpiece altogether, with their illustrious architecture making us feel as if we were actually in far away
For example, there are no sightings of skyscrapers, motels, or any kind of city structure, in the Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney’s goal for his first theme park, as well as all of the others, is to not be able to see the nearby city. Walt Disney really wanted to transport guests into a different world. In this world, there are no real world issues occurring and the guests would be safe. The real world is absent, and does not protrude into the traditional family vacation. My father, does not get any calls from work, so this is his time to talk and enjoy quality family time. Family time is very difficult to obtain, due to work and school schedules. Each day we are in and out of the door, and really stay busy until it is time for bed. The solution is the trips to Walt Disney World as these can be seen as aides to create a place to be a family and enjoy one
Today was the day my best friend and I have been waiting forever for. Today we go on our day trip to Disney World. We only had 24 hours to be there and enjoy the trip day and night. So we had to make the most out of it. Which is why, while she slept on the plane I made an agreement to myself that we wouldn’t sleep during the entire trip, Just so we wouldn’t waste any time.
Then, something happened, something just clicked and I started to enjoy the ride not be scared of it. I started to laugh and stick my hands up and my aunt looked happy as well. We went everywhere. We twisted and turned and looped upside down, it was so much fun! We got off after going for what seemed like nothing it seemed like time had stopped while we were on there then Snap! Just like that we pulled into the station and the seats opened as we slowly got
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
