Video conferencing is the technology that allows you to hold meetings with several correspondents who are located in different places while seeing them and talking to them in real time. It is different from simple video calling, which is normally one-to-one video communication. No Need To Travel
It costs a lot of money and a lot of time to travel to meet people. To bring them together around a table, you need to consider and shoulder so many hassles: travel expenses, availability of flight seats, visas, availability of participants at the scheduled time, accommodation, food etc. With video conferencing, we can organize and hold a meeting within the hour with participants from remote places all over the world. They only need to have the necessary equipment and requirements, which are basic commodities nowadays, and be present in front of the screen at the chosen time. The pre-meeting organization can be done over email or instant

There are some really favorable reasons for this strategy as well as some which are not so favorable. On the plus side, it is a fantastic way of screening a person want or does not want to correspond and possibly meet up with. You get a chance to talk with someone before actually doing a face to face meeting which is great so there are less feelings of rejection. You get to usually see pictures of the person you are corresponding with to see if a possible spark ignites between the two. Many individuals also do video chats to make certain that the person they are chatting with i...
When you hear the word communicate many ideas come to mind. To some it brings thoughts of face to face conversations others think of internet based video conferencing. There are many ways to communicate with others in this day and age. Leaders have many tools and methods with which they can communicate with those around them. They must evaluate each situation to determine which method or methods will provide the desired result for what we are trying to communicate to their teams so they can avoid the confusion that comes when they choose the wrong communication method. (Gendron 2015) In this paper we will discuss several communication methods available to leaders and then look at what are some common challenges and barriers they face when
Communication is the process of conveying information to each another using words, actions, or by writing the information down to be read by another person. Communication is something that most people do at some point each day, and is an important part of life especially in a working environment. “The concept of communication is an essential part of every profession, and it is required to foster and maintain healthy relationships”( Jasmine, 2009, para. 1).
Teleconferencing gives a team the convenience of sharing information in real time. When meeting in this manner, team members are able to receive instant feedback. Other members can also listen to the tone and inflection of the member speaking. Telephone conferencing involves minimal cost but requires that team members be avail...
Over the last century, information technology, such as the Internet, has brought our society forward and helps us get through life more efficiently and conveniently. In addition, it helps making global communication easier and faster as compared to hand-written mails that may take days if not weeks to reach its intended recipient. However, with such luxury and convenience, there is a debate whether the way we currently interact with fellow human beings with the help of technology is good or bad to our personal relationships. The Internet has increased the amount of communication globally, yet ironically the very technology that helps us increase our communication hinders our ability to socialize effectively in real life and create a healthy interpersonal relationship.
In fact, it has become so convenient that there is almost no need to meet in person if everything can be done online. For instance, instead of having to meet each other for group work in school, it is much easier and convenient to make a group chat, meet online, and do the work that way. It is quick, fairly simple and does not take too much energy to accomplish. That is why people prefer online communication because it is not as much of a hassle compared to actually meet up with a person to discuss an idea or, in terms of gaming, hang out with one another. In this application, technology is all benefitting the group because it barely affects their
Science and Technology has been around from the beginning of time. It evolved from the everyday efforts of people trying to improve their way of life. Throughout history, humankind has developed and utilized tools, machines, and techniques without understanding how or why they worked or comprehending their physical or chemical composition. Before we go any further a definition has to be given for both Science and Technology because they are both different in their own right even though the two are almost indistinguishable. According to the Oxford Dictionary Technology can be defined as the knowledge or use of the mechanical arts and applied sciences, while Science can be defined as the branch of knowledge involving systematized observation and experiment. Science can be further divided into three separate categories; Pure, Applied and Natural Sciences. In addition technology is often defined as applied science, it is simply the application of scientific knowledge to achieve a specific human purpose, however, historical evidence suggests technology is a product of science.

Face-to-face communication allows the entire experience to not only be heard but also seen and felt. Face-to-face training also adds a personal element to a workshop as opposed to computer-based education. “
