nightmare. I tell him that it felt so so real to me and that I am starting to actually believe that it’s real. He is quiet for a while and then he says “That’s a little convenient don’t you think? To wake up to a super attractive guy that lets you out of confinement and takes you to his house? I mean it sounds a little too good to be true.” “He was sweet okay? I don’t think he would lie to me.” “I’m just sayin’ Iris...it doesn’t sound real. Is there anything you left out?” “Um… he said that only four percent of the world can dream of Dareon. So not everyone could live there. I am wondering what the purpose of the world is. I mean it can’t just be there just because right?” “I think you will find out the reason as time goes on. Not in the slightest.” “So do you trust this guy? I mean you just met him.” “I think I have to. He is the first person I have met so far. Plus the President of Dareon, Wiley is sort of forcing him to be my ‘guide.’ ” “You left that part out. Have you met this Wiley before?” “Yeah he was the guy with the creepy eyes” I say with a laugh. “Maybe he has something to do with Dareon existing. You know this is crazy Violet, that we are talking about a world that most likely doesn’t exist. I mean I am trying to listen to all of this and analyze it, but I can’t really relate since I have never even been there.” “I know right! I used to be afraid of it, but now I am sort of grateful. It is a way to escape all of the craziness that is my life.” “Yeah I get it. We will talk later okay?” “Okay how about tomorrow?” “Sure, if you don’t sleep through it” he says with a …show more content…
He was arrested and sentenced one year for starting a fire. Basically his friends and him were messing around in a forest behind a neighborhood and his friend dropped his cigarette and it started a chain reaction that burned two houses down along with it. Everyone in the houses were fine but Liam was a little scarred. Liam’s friends ran away quick enough but he wasn’t so lucky so he had to take the blame. I miss him a lot. My mom is quiet the rest of the drive home but I don’t mind. When I get home I read and read until my eyes ache, anything to avoid the whole Dareon thing that is my life. That is always something I have loved about books; they are yet another way to escape reality, with different plots and characters that you fall in love with. My bookshelf is filled with amazing books anywhere from Black Tiger by Sara Baysinger to To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I bet you have already guessed I am a bookworm though judging by my daily visits to the library. I guess that might explain why I am not the most popular kid, but I really don’t mind. Besides I have Reid, and he is as good as ten friends. I wonder if I will have more friends in Dareon, only time will tell. My thoughts are scattered when I hear the phone
Dylan has not been the same ever since . With all Dylan has been through, he takes his anger out in different ways like stealing and being di srespectful to his mom . He’s seen as a loner in school and keeps to himself.
“Thought about it, but didn’t believe it. Well then,” my father’s voice was still the same, “that changes things, doesn’t it?”
“There’s no such things as spirits,” Dan muttered to himself, “and even if they were real what could they do to me. They couldn't hurt me.”
He looked down at the young girl holding your hand. She looked back, her small face creased in worry, “Don’t people want to die when they get old?” Donnie smiled at her, “No, no one really wants to die.”
“I know we will. You don’t have to be afraid. I’ve known lots of people that have done
“Yes, I actually do. I can tell you a way to get to Damon, the guy that can access the underworld. Why would you want to get to the underworld?”
“Yes. Because I will choose my father’s wish and the one thing he wanted me to do. The one thing he asked me to do before I died.”
He smiled. "That is from the 'Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.' Here's another one. 'In the room the women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
“True, that he’s no Prince Charming, but there’s something in him that I simply didn’t see.”
"Anyways, there's actually a reason I came here." Coraline explained. "Not just for entertainment. Something...weird happened inside my apartment."
“It was just a hallucination, a dream. The whole thing was just a trick.” Merlin explained.
“He’s...kind of fucked up, but I don’t think we have to worry about him sneaking out,” Vax
“You always had that penchant for unravelling the mystery. Don’t you want to know all the dramatic details?”
“Oh?” I try to sound casual. “I smell intrigue. What’s going on, and is it going to affect his mood terribly?”
"Maybe they were but...I dunno. I just see something in Charlotte that's so...'I am trapped here, and I don't know it.'"
