Even though people think it’s not “normal” for a female to be president anything is possible. Clinton went to both Wellesley and Yale colleges. When she Yale, she studied to be a lawyer, which she would later become. She eventually found her way to marry. Clinton married William “Bill” Clinton in 1975, and had a child Chelsea. In the book, Burial And Thebes, the king, Creon, can be compared to the presidential candidate, Donald Trump. They have many things in common, such as thinking they are better than everyone, a tendency to bully others, and the ability to say the most stupid things that might later affect them in life. Donald Trump and King Creon also have a tendency to think of themselves as gods, as if they are ones who can give wisdom to the lesser people below them. They also have similar views on women. For example, in Creon’s case, no woman has any power. In Trump’s case, he tends to degrade woman with his opinions. Even though these two very cocky men are thousands of years apart, they both have similar views on they way life should be.
The U.S. president is a person deemed to be the most fitting person to lead this country through thick and thin. It’s been such a successful method that it has led to 43 individual men being put in charge of running this country. However, this doesn’t mean that each one has been good or hasn’t had an issue they couldn’t resolve when in office. But no matter what, each one has left a very unique imprint on the history and evolution of this nation. However when two are compared against one another, some rather surprising similarities may be found. Even better, is what happens when two presidents are compared and they are from the same political party but separated by a large numbers of years between them. In doing this, not only do we see the difference between the two but the interesting evolution of political idea in one party.
...being one of the most powerful women in politics and represented Denver in 1997. People looked up to her as she represented women’s positions in politics, child care programs, and fought to decrease the spending limits that were set for defense installations (Abbott, Leonard, Noel, pp. 480, 2013).
The first lady appears to be trustworthy, in that she holds true to her contract of marriage although her husband has made and abomination of the sacred agreement. The marriage now, however, may actually be more political, but Mrs. Clinton makes it seem that she is not giving up on the marriage, a strong virtue especially in today's society. Mrs. Clinton is also a great liberal and advocates for many minority groups such as homosexuals. This appearance, whether it be true or false, appeals to the greater number of her constituents who are increasingly liberal.
Shortly after his graduation, Trump moved back to Manhattan and began undertaking the first of his solo real estate development deals. He took on several massive projects during this time, the first of which capitalized on the Pennsylvania Central Railroad company declaring bankruptcy (Encyclopedia of World Biography 4). Trump originally intended to renovate the west yard into an apartment complex,...
Donald Trump’s hypocritical claim to be a Christian is conspicuous as he holds up Grandma’s bible and mispronounces 2 Corinthians, etc., as if to make a joke of the whole thing. When 60 minutes first interviewed with Donald Trump and his new running mate, Mike Pence, interviewer Leslie Stahl contrasted the difference between the two, saying Trump was brash and Pence was quiet and religious. Trump butted in, “Oh, I’m religious.” The proof he offered? “Well, I won the evangelicals.” Trump said.
During the times of Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt, America was utterly going through its ups and downs with its political identity. Lincoln and Roosevelt each acquired unique skills that predominately shaped America in many different ways. Expectations of government were evolving during the periods of both Presidents because the people wanted more justice and to be a globally recognized country with an immense amount of power. Moreover, Lincoln’s role as being President was to preserve the Union along with initiating the Emancipation Proclamation that ended slavery. On the contrary, Roosevelt strongly influenced America with his enthusiastic ways and reshaped it by establishing powerful imperialistic views, becoming involved in foreign affairs, and assuring that the US get the justice that it deserved. Although both Lincoln and

Donald’s early life consisted of his attendance at New York Military Academy and Fordham University. Eventually he transferred to the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, where he received his bachelor's degree in economics in 1968. Donald’s first legitimate job, which inspired him to enter the real estate industry, was with his father in real estate. Donald was adamant about the lessons that his father taught him in the construction and real estate industry, and claims that he would not be where he is today without his fathers wisdom. It wasn’t until the early 1970’s that Donald began to desire something that would get him the big bucks. He grew tired and bored of working with his father where they sold middle-class rental housing. Donald sought to move onto bigger, commercial real estate development. He saw a window of opportunity to jump into commercial real estate when New York City began offering large tax breaks to investors who were willing to purchase real estate. Trump was known for his dexterity in deal making, which helped him to square off loans with minimal collateral. The deal making skills Donald Trump possessed allo...

I choose to research Hillary Clinton because I admire the drive and passion she puts into her work. She is a unique global leader whose activism has promoted social change around the world. Warren Bennis, author of On Becoming a Leader author says that, “…true leaders are not born, but made, and they are usually self-made (Bennis, p. 35, 2009).” Hillary is a prominent example of a self-made leader. She invented herself as a public figure through her dedication to human rights and equality. Over the last three decades she has gained the respect and admiration of people around the world. She has spent a career working towards improving people's lives.
