1. Compare and contrast driving in the winter and driving in the summer.
Driving in the winter and in the summer are two very different settings. They have different variables that make them so distinguished and so contrasting. Both seasons can be dangerous for drivers in their own ways. Likewise, there are many factors that could be added to make these dangers worse.

During the winter, depending on where you live, it may snow which is naturally accompanied by ice as well. Roads could freeze over and be very slippery. If not ice, than you should still worry over snow. Your car can get stuck in slush, I would know, it has happened to me before. In case of this, you should always carry salt in your car around winter time. In some places, ice nor snow are a problem; but rain might be. Hard, fast and strong rain could come down where you live. This also make the roads slippery, and probably even more dangerous as hard rain makes a windshields’ visibility troublesome.

Be it for visiting family out of the country or going to the beach, highways and roads are jam packed. Car accidents are common, be it losing control of the steering wheel, hitting the brake to late, or getting distracted by a mobile phone or something of other; thee a risk of an accident. When summer comes around they feel they are free and can do as they please, but that shouldn't mean you become careless, especially on the road.

Conclusion.
Driving is always a hazard, no matter what time of year or day it is. There are some people who don’t use turn signals, people who run red lights, some people disobey the “pedestrians first” law, and there are many other reasons as to why driving can be dangerous. The important thing is for you to remember the laws and violations set when driving, and to take precaution during changing seasons and holidays; as well as everyday
