The similarities and differences between driving in the winter and in summer are numerous. Cars get us from point A to point B, and shelter us from the elements while we do so. Some cars may do a better job at sheltering us comfortably than others when environmental factors come in to play.
The differences between driving in the winter and driving in the summer are greater than the similarities. Driving in the heat may be manageable while driving a car that has a functioning AC, but if your AC doesn’t work you’ll be uncomfortable the whole ride. But let’s say you’re driving during the winter and your heater doesn’t work, you could simply dress in warm clothing to fix that issue. As for the similarities, both seasons require your cars heating
or cooling system to be at their full potential for ultimate comfort while getting to where you have to get. In conclusion summer and winter may pose difficulties when it comes to comfort while driving. Whatever weather it may be driving comfortable is in all our best interest to keep concentrated on the road. For me it’s trying to keep cool, living in the desert it is important to have a functioning AC in your car unless you are planning melting. And just as I imagine having a good heater is needed when driving in Alaska in order not to freeze your buns off. But as long as you keep your cars heating and cooling abilities up to date you can get through the heat or the cold with ease any and every day.
Hi, I am here to talk you about the pros and cons of driving in the summer and winter. The reason I say that is because I have been hearing different opinions about driving in the winter is better than driving in the summer, and of course, driving in the summer is better than driving in the winter. Although, it depends on what you are driving in and how you drive when driving. I say that because you could drive in the winter and still be cold because you did not turn on your heat. On the other hand, you could drive in the summer and still be hot if you do not let down any windows and or turn on the ac.

Andrew Simms, a policy director and head of the Climate Change Program for the New Economics Foundation in England, presents his argument about the impact SUV’s have on our roadways, and the air we breathe. “Would You Buy a Car That Looked like This? “. The title alone gives great insight on what the article is going to be about, (vehicles). “They clog the streets and litter the pages of weekend colour *supplements. Sport utility vehicles or SUV’s have become badges of middle class aspiration” (Simms 542). Simms opening statement not only gives his opinion on how SUV’s are the new trend, but he also paints a picture of what we see every day driving down our roadways. Simms also compares the tobacco industry’s gap between image and reality to that of SUV’s; stating that the cause and consequences of climate change resemble smoking and cancer. Simms comparison between SUV’s and cigarettes shows how dangerous he believes SUV’s are.

Driving in the winter and summer are alike even if you're driving in either one something harmful might happen. If you’re drive and get do you get to much wind in your face. Suspense; Suspense is the intense feeling that an audience goes through while waiting for the outcome of certain events. It basically leaves the reader holding their breath and wanting more information. The amount of intensity in a suspenseful moment is why it is hard to put a book down. Without suspense, a reader would lose interest quickly in any story because there is nothing that is making the reader ask, “What’s going to happen next?” In writing, there has to be a series of events that leads to a climax that captivates the audience and makes them tense and anxious to know what is going to happen. And Suspense, is what “August heat” primarily uses to keep its story so invigorating.
The seasons are caused by the toilet of the Earth’s axis. It is also caused by the way the tilt of the earth is pointed at; away or towards the sun. The tilt of the earth is 23.5 degrees. There are two solstices, the summer solstice and the winter solstice. The summer solstice is when the northern hemisphere is focused on the tilt towards the sun, maximum sunlight is reached here. The winter solstice is when it is focused on the tilt away from the sun, there will be minimum sunlight. The winter builds up cold air over North America. The Earth is closer to the sun when it is winter in the northern hemisphere. The distance from the sun varies. The earth has seasons because the earth is not straight, it is tilted. The Earth's distance from the sun does not cause the seasons. Many people believe that the seasons are caused by Earth's orbit around the sun, but this is false. Winter occurs when the Earth is closest to the sun, while summer occurs when the Earth is farthest from the sun.
Fall and winter both start to change temperatures and it begins to get a lot colder. Fall is better than winter and spring because in the winter you get runny noses and in the spring the pollen would stop up your nose. Fall is better than any other season because you can go squirrel hunting and deer hunting. Fall is the best season because of Thanksgiving too. Family’s get to get together and eat turkey and dressing. There are football games outside and the temperature is just right so your hands will not fall off.

The weather in Italy is as diverse as its geography. The wintertime in the north of the country can be brutally cold, as seen throughout Europe, while the south can enjoy warm Mediterranean temperatures. There are four distinct seasons in Italy but the conditions for each vary throughout the country. These differences are common in geography similar to Italy’s where the inland and higher ground is different from the coastal plains and lowlands.

Author Margaret Kriz (2006) states that, “the vast majority of scientists who study Earth's climate agree that the planet is warming, and they blame the greenhouse gases that accumulate in the a...
My favorite season of the year is summer because of the warm weather, the school vacation, and the endless fun. I really enjoy the warm weather because it’s the perfect atmosphere to do outdoor activities. My favorite part about summer has to be the fact that school is closed for two months. During summer, you’re free to do whatever you want, not worrying about curfew or waking up early for school. Summer time is a great time to relax with friends and family by soaking up the sun at a beach or simply having dinner together.
One of the most important advantages of owning a car is convenience. It allows you the freedom to go anywhere you want whenever you want. There is no hanging about waiting for public transport to turn up in potentially bad weather.
