I recently received a letter stating that I have been blocked from future registration from your college and dismissal from the University due to my performance in that I the academic year 2016-2017. This letter is written with the hope that I can persuasive you and the members of the academic community that I am deserving of a second chance. Let me be straight forward. All blame remains with one but I would nevertheless like to point out some circumstances that were unfortunately. I heard of saying that went by, “Life comes at you fast!” I can say that I experience this for a whole year. There were no bones broken but I could not get an MRI right then, because my right knee was too swollen still. When I was in the waiting room all I was thinking about was, “How am I going to pay for this visit, I don’t have insurance or medicate at all?” I did not have a primary doctor or the money to afford any of this. The next day I went to Buetel to order my medicine since it would have been cheaper there. Luckily, there was a specialist there to see what happened to my knee, he guess that I tore my ACL but still could not tell because my knee is still swollen. When I was able to get an MRI, my results was a complete torn ACL and meniscus. This news was devastating to me because ACL and meniscus injuries are the worst to get. How was I going to pay for surgery when I do not have insurance or the amount of money I needed? I could not work for the mean time since I was not able to walk and my mom was having a hard time finding insurance. Buetel tried helping me, but I needed a primary doctor to refer me to a knee specialist to see when I was going to get surgery. I was told that without insurance or money I could not get the help I need for my knee. I did attend physical therapy at Buetel to get my knee to bend, to be straight, and so I can be able to walk right. Attending therapy did help for the most part but it started to add up on the bills in my student account that I
