I will post my lesson plans online at teacher pay teachers so that anyone who wanted to implement the program has access. The lesson plans are easy to follow and have both detaled information and step by step instuctions so that anyone who wanted to use them could be successful. St. Thomas Aquinas has an extensive religious education program, from kindergarden to sixth grade. This includes a special needs class, and a sacrement prep class for older students and their parents. One of my biggest challenges was creating lesson plans that would keep every class engaged. For example I learned that the kindergarden class loved acting out the bible stories.
But, the second graders were not that theatrical, they much prefered crafts and games or smaller

I also always had something for the students to take home to their families each week that would help them to share the story that we had disscused that day with their parents, siblings, and other family members. I am currently working on uploading all my lesson plans to Teachers pay Teachers so that they can be shared with the global community.
My mother used to be a full time teacher, so many of my days off resulted in me being off from school but still in the classroom. I had also been a VBS volunteer and worked with other group of students with both the Dallas Summer Musicals summer intensive and the DISD summer dance intensive. However, before this project I had never had to be the sole leader responsible for all content for such a large group of children. I learned that each grade level requires specific dialog to help them stay focused on the task at hand. I improved my public speacking skills both with the students and the adult volunteers. I had to speak loudly and clearly in order to hold the students attention in the chapel that my classes were held in. I learned that my directions needed to be more specific for the adult volunteers that were working with the project and I
I will bring a copy of the curriculum/lesson plans this Thursday during class so you guys can take a look at it.

Such as, if Brayden and another little boy are not listening during transition I could separate them rather than giving them multiple warnings. Also, if I know that Roslyn is having a hard time controlling her anger appropriately then I could give her an “angry ball” or something that she can squeeze or take her anger out on rather than her hurting others. While for Fiona, we could talk about feelings one day during circle time and possibly figure out why she is feeling the way she is feeling. Due to the fact that everyone learns differently teachers need to be aware that not all children learn the same way as them. Teachers could possibly change the way they do activities such as, doing some hands on, watching videos, reading books, or even asking one child a day how they would like to learn about the theme of the
For this field assignment, I chose to observe a seventh grade self-contained math class at William A Morris I.S 61 on Staten Island. I am currently a substitute teacher at the school and has worked at this school for approximately two years. For the purpose of this observations, I worked with Mr. Karl Knutsen, a 6th and 7th grade math, special education and technology supervisor at the school. Mr. Knutsen has been a teacher for seven years and has worked in I.S 61 for five. He currently teaches all self-contained math classes and is the "tech guy" for the building, meaning he is the go-to guy for all SmartBoard or computer based questions and emergencies. I am currently observing and working with Mr. Knutsens first and second period 7th grade class, 717. This class has 12 students, 11 boys and 1 girl, ranging in ages 13-14. Each student has an IEP for varying
...ualized plan due to time constraints, it is reasonable to treat each student as they do have an individualized education. Teachers should know their students well enough to individualize the classroom activities so all students have strengths in each lesson. Through collaborative efforts, teachers can gain knowledge about the students and new ways to teach according to different learning styles. Working together, each student can receive an individualized education where their full potential is used.
Teachers have a lot of material to cover during each school day. The allotted time for a lesson may only allow students to explore the basics.

Teachers should be required to rewrite their lesson plans but use any template that works for them as long as they have the required guidelines set by the principal.
The students might take a long time to finish one lesson and this will cause the ineffective use of
When I first got to the classroom the students were doing a listening exercise and had to answer same question the teacher wrote on the board. At a certain time they all were allowed to go to the bathroom. Each student was given a responsibility in the classroom.
My participants will consist of 3 groups. Parents who have kids ranging from 3 to 8 years old, parents with kid 9 to 13 years old, and parents with kids from 14 to 18 years old.
There are many different ways that a teacher is able to put together and use a lesson plan. They are able to create the lesson plan themselves and follow the path that is set by a textbook, or they can use an integrated plan that incorporates all of the main school subjects in it. They are also able to use a teacher prepared plan that was put together for them by another teacher that has been around longer, or they are able to use a commercially purchased plan that is created by an outside company to use. Any of these plans have multiple benefits as well as some hindrances to them.
Lesson plans for these students should include charts, diagrams, and tables when possible since this type of student learns best through categorizing, classifying, and working with abstract patterns or relationships. Let them do experiments and show them how to use a calculator. Some games these learners might like to play include Uno, checkers, and chess.
