Because globalization is an unstoppable process, based on the evolve of internet and transportation, people can know other countries’ culture, people can go to any country in sever hours, the earth just like a community. Some people think that globalization produce too much negative influence, such as the gap between the rich and the poor, and it will damage the local culture in some cases, but in my opinion, globalization is a inevitable result, nobody can stop it, an there are more positive influence than the negative, for instance, the growth in the economy and tourism, both of them can produce more job opportunity, and communication and transportation between cultures is the most important aspect, so that we can have such a colorful world. As a conclusion, Mingei and nationalism can be perceived as fundamentally interwoven through Japanese handicrafts. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, many factors came to play a part in bringing the Japanese spirit to the forefront of craftsmen minds, whether as reason to bring attention to themselves and their own work or as a way of providing necessary utensils to the average Japanese home. The efforts of the Mingei movement and the Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition cannot be ignored. Yanagi can be said to have foreseen this radical decline in traditional styles and if not for his and his fellow founders collecting and preserving crafts in the Japanese Folk Art Museum, many of the regional methods and styles could be lost today. After the destruction of the war and

During this time period, trade became greater than ever. The military power strengthened. Globalization is a term which became popular after the 3th quarter of the 20th century. It is used to describe the movement of people, information, commodities and financial tools across national borders which increase the interconnection between countries economically, politically, socially and culturally. The effects of globalisation on different fields are one of the main discussion topics of these days. My dad owned a tire and auto repair shop which was right next door to the McDonald’s. We went to Catholic Church and a Catholic school. My only exposures to International issues or peoples were in the stories of the saints. When I moved to go to college in Oregon there was some international exposure but very limited. The main exposure to other cultures were through films, some content was true to the culture while others were following the American stereotypes, such as making Russians evil or all Asians know Kung Fu. It wasn’t until the past 10 years that I began to work with people from many different countries and became interested in their cultures, business practices, history and cities. In my own life, globalization has allowed me to see past the unfair stereotypes and misinformation to see people of different cultures with understanding and respect. It’s been a welcomed

Everyone on earth is contributing to the history of it, and you should embrace the current state of it whether the outcome would be beneficial or devastating, but also to a degree where the government should still intervene with it.
