Cc is her name and she has been there through everything for me and was always there to listen when i needed someone to be there. She is one of the nicest people i know why tried to make everyone happy and she has gotten me to trust people more and to open up a little bit but most importantly she is an amazing friend and i am lucky to have her as a bff. In her story, "Full Cicada Moon", Marilyn Hilton exhibits the theme "how communities deal with differences" in several ways. Hilton conveys a story about an adolescent half African American and half Japanese girl in a novel-in-verse book. The book talks about fitting in and standing up for what is right. Throughout the book, I have noticed several examples of the theme “how communities deal with difference.” Commixed race Mimi, is moving into a predominantly white Vermont town which is enough to make her feel like an alien. The town follows the conception that sheltered towns struggle to accept differences. As Mimi arrives at her new town, Mimi has noticed the confusion about her ethnicity. An example of this is
Christopher Johnson McCandless, a.k.a Alexander Supertramp, “Master of his Own Destiny.” He was an intelligent young man who presented himself as alone but really he was never lonely. However, he believed that life was better lived alone, with nature, so he ventured off throughout western United States before setting off into Alaska’s wild unprepared where he died. Some may say he was naive to go off on such a mission without the proper food and equipment but he was living life the way he wanted to and during his travels he came across three people: Jan Burres, Ronald Franz, and Wayne Westerberg. McCandless befriended these people, it is believed that he made such a strong impression on them that their connection left them with strange feelings after finding out about McCandless’ death.
person he told me he used to be; to the person he is today. I think his life is a great testimony for
Even though we fight and sometimes not on the same page. For example, her boyfriend just left for boot camp today. She needs someone to talk to so I was there for her. Another is when I needed someone to talk to about my issues she was there and she just let me talk her ear off until I asked her what I should do. She is there when I need to talk even if it’s just how your day or something just so small like a hey. If we can’t talk on the phone or text, we meet up somewhere and just talk for like hours on end. It’s nice to have her as a friend. We all need a friend that listens and talks to when we need it. Another importance friend that is easy to talk to one of my friends is Cori. October of 1962 is considered by many the closest the world has ever been to a third World War. As pressure between the Soviet Union and United State grew so did the fears of the American people. Due in part because of its proximity to the United States, Cuba was the perfect place from which the Soviet Union could launch an attack. This was cause for real alarm, Cuba had already begun building silos and launch pads for nuclear missiles that would be able to do massive amounts of damage to the United States. John F. Kennedy’s speech regarding the Cuban Missile Crisis was one of the greatest factors in preventing a third World War as well as keeping domestic peace.

I met Cindy in middle school but our friendship particularly strength throughout high school. During those years I got to meet the person that she is, good-natured, hard working and a good friend. I have trusted her with all my secrets and have shared a great deal of my life with her. After high school, keeping in contact became difficult
Society has also had a great influence on my life. Princess Diana had a great influence on my life. One of the great things she did that influenced my life was when she auctioned seventy-nine of her dresses and donated the money to charity.
The character I most identify with would probably have to be Susanna. We're both quiet and reserved people, and she represents that a girl can be in a movie without needing to fall in love. She shatters the archetype we set for her as becoming Duncan’s boyfriend when she tells him that’s not what she’s looking for, and I love that. I love how she is her own person, and how she completely ignores the pretty girls and their attempts to convert her throughout the movie.
One trait I admire is her kindness. Hannah can go through hell and come back and still care about others, wondering if they are okay; rather than putting herself first. One of her family members died and she was really upset about it, so I did what she would do if a tragic event like that moment happened to me and comforted her as much as she was willing. It inspires me to be more kind to others rather than being rude 24/7. Usually if Hannah is actually coming off a little mean, she will give
There are plenty of people that I have known is important to me, but if I can name one person that had help me a lot then I would say my third oldest sister, Sylvia, is important in my life. We have ups and downs from having fun together to having a big argument over silly things and by the end of the day that we just forget the whole arguement. She is the one that always push me harder to focus on school and always remind me what come first in my class schedule and finish their work before doing other things. One day that I got into trouble in college that she was mad at me to the point she almost lost faith in me and I have felt bad about it. So I promise her that I would do better and be more focus on my education first then other last.
Candy, it tastes good but it is bad for the teeth. Medicine, it tastes horrible but it does good for the body. Both items show off good and bad features. The clubs in Centennial Christian School, or CCS for short, also have their good and bad. Using rhetorical strategies it is evident that there are flaws in these clubs but the students and teachers are able to overcome using theirs strengths. It is the students that make up the clubs and not the clubs themselves because of the background CCS carries.
School wasn’t as easy for me as it was for her. She made friends easily since she was outgoing, but I couldn’t since I was shy. At the time, I didn’t like being in the same grade as her because it was like she forgot about me when she was around everyone else, but she proved me wrong. Around third grade, she really started talking to me and being my friend again. She encouraged me to make my own friends and really helped me throughout my elementary school years. Because of her, I finally made two friends: Aspen and Lillian. A few more years went by and we were in middle school now. There was so much drama between Aspen, Lillian, and I and I was soon alone, again. Makenzie was there for me at this time. She hung out with me at school whenever she could and she made room for me at her lunch table. Frequently, she would come over after school and would just talk to me and do anything to make me feel better. We got really close and I am so thankful that I had her at this
Have you ever had that one special friend that you knew would be there for you through thick and thin? That special friend, who can read your thoughts, finish your sentences, and make you smile when you are feeling blue. A friend is someone who is honest and you can trust. A friend is someone who you hang out with, and someone you rely on. Friendship is being there for someone when they need you. That person for me is my best friend Katrina. She is the kindest, sweetest person I have ever known. She will do anything for anyone.
