In life, there are times people need someone to look up to in order to get through in life. Somebody who is kind, talented, and friendly. This special someone makes you think everyday what you could do to deal with a conflict that can come towards you and how to take it in a simple, proper way. Ever wonder what you should do if a very bad accident happens to you caused by another? For example, if a child that you do not know throws up on you what would you do? Throw the child and express your anger or would you be stressed and just clean yourself up? If you admire a person who is good for you then you probably chose the second option. This girl I admire is named Hannah Stuckel.
One trait I admire is her kindness. Hannah can go through hell and come back and still care about others, wondering if they are okay; rather than putting herself first. One of her family members died and she was really upset about it, so I did what she would do if a tragic event like that moment happened to me and comforted her as much as she was willing. It inspires me to be more kind to others rather than being rude 24/7. Usually if Hannah is actually coming off a little mean, she will give

them the, I-am-just-going-to-smile-really-hard-and-say-yes face. I mean, at least she is still being considerate, but sometimes she can not always hold her ungenerous words in; a small percentage of the time. A girl she did not like came up to her and asked “Oh, my gosh! Hey Hannah! Do you like my outfit?” Hannah of course said “yes” and the girl left with a smile on her face, but after she left, Hannah turned around and told me “That is the most hideous outfit I have ever seen.” Something I would never expect her to say so I was surely, astonished. Like I said, this is a rare moment that happens seldomly. Another thing I truly admire is her talent. All throughout her years of living, Hannah has been the best female teenage singer I have ever heard in my lifetime. She has a voice of an angel; smooth, sweet, lovable, and perfect. Hannah has sang for schools, to concerts, church, restaurants, retirement parties and now social media; women are not the only one who adores when their spouse can sing. In Junior High for Veterans Day she sang “The National Anthem” and “America the Beautiful” (of course sounded better than the original). It was an outstanding performance, having the veterans in tears of joy; honored to be invited and greeted so warmly. Hannah appeared in the Belleville News Democrat/Metro-East paper and website for her role modeling skills, assembly performances, and being a go to person when her peers need help. As inviting as her singing is, Hannah’s real talent is the way she spreads peace. Lastly, I admire her friendship.
I have been friends with Hannah for years and up to this point I did not think our friendship would last so strong and lasting. Nothing makes me more delighted than to be able to talk to her every day. When I need to, get through the day, want to have a good laugh, talk about personal topics, or just say random words and she already knows how to reply. Sure people say that best-friends are supposed to have arguments and we for sure had some in the past, but I think we are better than that so we do not necessarily do it anymore. Anytime we are able to hangout it is always a memorable moment; looked back on and cherished upon. She is not my girlfriend, but I do love her smile, laugh, hugs, texts, and just being with her; never thought a friendship could be so
important. In conclusion, Hannah’s three talents that I admire the most is her talent, kindness and friendship. She was blessed and I hope she does not let it all go to waste and continues to proceed to her dreams and stays high on happiness. This is one mademoiselle who I will never forget no matter where I go and I hope she will still be there with me in the future after high school.
Rebecca Stead does a beautiful job capturing every facet of friendships—both the good (where it’s strong and supportive) and the bad (where it’s based on cattiness and
As a young girl, I was never fond of the name Anna. The name came along with too much baggage.. Unknowingly, people would constantly call me the wrong name, and some people, disregarding my opinion, even created strange nicknames for me. Over the years, I have been called a variety of names including Annie, Ann, Anna, Annabelle, Anne Frank, banana, banana boat, etc. Frankly, there are just too many variations of the name “Anna”. Being an extremely common name, almost everywhere I go, whether it be school or the grocery store, I always seem to find another “Anna”. Although nameberry.com tells me that “Anna” means grace, it actually means unique, intelligent, and affectionate.
No, my mom did not give me a dollar and tell me to buy a collar. Nine times out of ten, I will tell someone my last name and instantly hear the jingle for Bazooka Bubble Gum. My best friend’s favorite story to tell everyone how we met, when I introduced myself to her in my sassy tone with my arms crossed and hip popped out, “Hi, I’m Gabriella, but you can call me G.” I am G Mazzuca, but legally I am Gabriella Mazzuca. My italian rooted first and last name have a perfect flow to it, but like me, G is simple and unique.
As a young child in elementary school, I struggled in the regular classes of language arts and math, and this caused my teachers to put me into Special Education. I recall hearing the regular students call me “stupid” all the time behind my back. When I had my regular classes in Social Studies or Science none of the other students wanted to be my partner in the group projects. I felt like an outcast, and my self-confidence was exceedingly low. However, I knew that I was not the smartest kid, but I was a hard worker. I begged my mom to help me convince the teachers to allow me to to join the regular classes in the 5th grade. Fortunately, my teachers agreed, and in my regular language arts class I was motivated to prove to my teachers, my classmates,
It was the beginning of the school year. All the students of Sublette Elementary were buzzing to get in there spots in our classroom. The principal had made an announcement that we were going to get a visitor! So,the teachers asked us to put our stuff away and get to the gym. When we were passing by everyone ,through the hallway windows our class saw a limo.It was black and polished it was so,buetiful ! When we got to the gym. The students saw Taylor Swift on the stage! She was wearing a glittery gown with diamond slippers. Her curls were piled up in a perfect bun, too.
that’s a person to look up too. She is always helping and trying to cheer up Blanche and trying to
The people I interview were my sister Shola who is 18 years old graduate from Kipp College preparatory, another sister Lisa a student who is 16 years old and my dad Antwane who is a mechanic and is 40 years old. These events of inequality in America has made these 3 women be more protected and have their freedom narrowed down a little bit. To my dad it made him worry for his kids and face stereotypes that society has given to black men.
About three years ago, a show arrived on the Hallmark Channel that changed my life forever. I had no idea at that point how it would ultimately impact my life, but there was something about Cedar Cove that I liked. At first, it wasn't even my favorite show, but I remember noticing the sweet Peggy Beldon and loving her instantly. It wasn't until the following summer that I discovered this character was played by Barbara Niven, and it really wasn't even until it was preparing to go into production for the third season that I truly connected with this phenomenal lady. I was captivated by her character's story in season two (the slap heard around the world that I will never forget as long as I live), but as I began to discover the woman behind
I just got done working a 9-5 double shift of course ; I came in body sore as ever I walked over to open up my window when I saw it was shattered by a brick. Instead of being in fear I felt rage. How dare they break my window that I paid my money for. I picked up the brick and it had a note on it, The note read:
Madeline would always put other people before herself. Before Christmas break, she brought all her friends' goody bags with candy in them. In school, she is always willing to help a a student out, and share her ideas with the class. No matter what, she will always partner up with anyone even if they're not friends. During band, she will teach peers notes if they need help. Now I am ready to share my ideas with
I admire this person for her ability to speak the truth without fear of offending the person. She has shared her clothes that don’t fit anymore with me, but when I asked for a specific particle, she didn’t mind telling me that she is not a store. We had laughed together, drank tea and shared meals. Marylin is also very tactful and warm. After Melba Sue died, and never seeing before relatives began to show up to claim some property, Marylin showed incredible grace and patience, giving them their rights, never showing any signs of irritation.
Throughout most of my life I have gained friendships and relationships with others that have turned into long term, but others which only lasted a short while. The friendship that has greatly impacted my life significantly over the last eight years is someone who means so much to me. This meaningful friendship all started back when I was in middle school, which has grown stronger over the years. I met Brooke in middle school because we had some of the same classes and were in homeroom together. Our friendship developed quickly and lasted throughout our high school years. We became really close our Junior and Senior year of high school. But, maintaining our friendship hasn’t always been so easy. Today, we text and call each other on our free time, but I know I can count and rely on her when I need someone to talk too. I call her my second sister and vice versa. And when we go home on breaks we see one another as much as we can. The best part of our relationship is that if one is in need of advice or in need of a shoulder to cry on, we are always there for one another. Keeping in contact is very important in our relationship and communication has played a key role in our relationship.
Growing up in school you have your friends in 1st, then in Jr. High, and then when you get to high school you might not even know or see your friends from 1st grade anymore. For the few people who’s had a friend from 1st grade till college I think that someone they need to hold on to because if they stuck with you through all them year I know they’re there for the right reason and there not just there for a season. As Elizabeth Dunphy says, “It’s the little things that matter, that add up in the end, with the priceless thrilling magic found only in a friend.”
... some time off from school to get her mind right. Or, like my other best friend Andrea. Me and her are like peas and rice. It just seems that all the things that she experiences are things that I'm going through now, or that have already happened to me. Like many girls, she has issues with her boyfriend. But I believe, with my support, she has learned to deal with it, and I believe that she has such a great handle on it. My friends have told me that I am very understanding and supportive, and I believe that those two words couldn't describe me any better.
What is a “best friend”? Almost everyone has one, and almost everyone is one. There’s something about a best friend that cannot be duplicated. Everyone has their own definition of what their own best friend is like and what an impact he or she has made in their life. In this essay I would like to take a better look at some of the simple things that we might take for granted when we think of our best friends.
