Taylor Swift It was the beginning of the school year. All the students of Sublette Elementary were buzzing to get in there spots in our classroom. The principal had made an announcement that we were going to get a visitor! So,the teachers asked us to put our stuff away and get to the gym. When we were passing by everyone ,through the hallway windows our class saw a limo.It was black and polished it was so,buetiful ! When we got to the gym. The students saw Taylor Swift on the stage! She was wearing a glittery gown with diamond slippers. Her curls were piled up in a perfect bun, too.
There was a lot of stage lights and every girl there wanted to get her autograph. She came and sang to the school ,she also told us how she loved being a celebrity.Everyone was so, excited when the teachers said Taylor Swift was staying for the whole school day! She also told us she was having a load of fun. She started talking about her childhood while she signed autographs.Taylor let all the girls come into her limo and see all her elegant dresses from her mini dressing room. She was giving away T-shirts and hats with her picture on each of them. She was delighted when someone asked if we could go in her limo.It was fablous and glittery,it was the most buetiful car I’ve seen in my life!Everyone was sad when we saw her leave after school.Out of our school a celebrity walked. I learned how it felt like being popular, and Taylor Swift was the one who talked to us about her life. My favorite part of it was our visit with her and that she sang for the whole school in the gym.She was really fun, exciting, and beautiful!
After we relaxed for a long time, it was time for me to go and wash off all of the seaweed my hair had collected. I turn on the shower and there is a huge spider waiting for me just sitting there waiting for me. I killed it and then resumed my shower. After I got out and we were all ready leave we didn’t know where to go. Until my sister saw a commercial for this really cool place with alligators and a Ferris wheel, we decided to go there. As we pulled up to the place we noticed that there was an amazing Ferris wheel and I immediately got really excited. But my parents said that I have to wait until after dinner. So we went and ate our amazing dinner and it was so amazing. I ordered the best lobster and crab, it was so
As I walked to school with my lunch that was in a plastic bag. Once we got into school and got in the building my teacher Mr. Williams took attendance and five minutes later we turned around and got on the bus. It was windy and there were leaves blowing all over the place. Last year my 5th grade at John Stewart elementary school was going to Leroy Oakes in St. Charles for team building. It was a fall day and it was chilly. I had my drawstring on my back with my lunch and had three coats on. We turned onto a road called Dean Street and it was bordered by grass. I saw the Leroy Oaks sign, and my bus went over a speed bump that threw my class off balance. After awhile my class off the bus with a skip and a jump in my step. Then I was super excited that our
I was practicing the routine for my opening act, for the Broadway musical "The Sound of music." I am an actress playing the lead role of the main character Maria. My director Jane Marshall says," Barbara, you only have twenty minutes until your performance." My only chance to start a satisfying reputation for myself and please the audience. As I listened to those words come out of my directors mouth, that's when it dawned on me. I will only have one chance to do it right. I wouldn't want to cause any disarrays.
The air hung around them, tensed and quiet. The fragility of her emotion was threatening to shatter. It is as if that time stood still for her. She fingered the brim of her notebook, nervously and took notice of the cup of coffee on her side. Controlling the sudden urged to drown the caffeine all at once; she carefully picked the cup and warily sipped its content. It had long been cold, and her tongue appreciated that fact.
When I was seventeen years old and going into my senior year of high school I was given the opportunity to go on a trip to Spain with my school. It was a two week trip during the summer, visiting different cities and historical sites throughout the country. While we where there we went to see a Flamenco dance show in Seville which is about an hour and a half outside of Madrid, the city where we were staying. It was a Wednesday around one o’clock when we left and the ride up there was really beautiful. We were driving through the country side passing some small villages on the side of the road. We arrived there around 3:30 and sat down for the show. It was really cool they had all the ladies with their bright dresses and fruit in their hair dance around while we ate lunch. And the show ended around five and we started to head home. On the way home we were driving through the countryside along side a small village when all of a sudden we heard a loud bang and the bus started slowing down. After a couple of ...
One day a beautiful young girl named Rose was getting ready for her first day of high school. She was really excited she could hardly sleep last night, Rose wore her new uniform with pride and had her hair neatly done. Rose gave her mum and dad a kiss and leaped out the door. As Rose was walking to school she had many different emotions running through her head, one minute Rose was happy and the next she was ready to run home and hide under her sheets. Rose finally got to her new school where she was going to spend the next 4 years of her life. Rose saw a teacher and decided to ask if she knew where she could find the homeroom lists. The teacher replied saying “Yes you can find the list on the notice board near the tuckshop!” the teacher pointed
As the dark stadium filled with fire, with the sounds of guns and bombs exploding everywhere, the crazed fans yelled at the top of their lungs. The enormous stage was rumbling with the sound of a single guitar as the band slowly started their next encore performance. Soon after I realized that I was actually at the Sanitarium concert listening to Metallica play "One", I thought to my self, "Is this real, am I actually here right now?" I had a weird feeling the entire time because I had worked all summer to simply listen to music with a bunch of strangers.
This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I’m not exactly sure what to say or where to start. I don’t know how to let go of someone I love. I truly love you Tyler and care about you so much, but we need to come to an end. Over the past month or so I have been questioning us but even more so myself. It’s been a really difficult time for me and I am trying to figure out whom I am and what I want to do in life. I love school and want to focus on my future. I need to figure out where I want to go and focus on me. It’s so unfair to you and difficult to be with you or anyone for that matter when I don’t know who I am and where I want to go. I need to figure this out so badly Tyler, it’s killing me every day. I need to be happy with myself before anyone comes into

The day had finally come, the day Brooklynn, and I would meet our idol. Brooklynn’s parents picked me up around 12:00, and we were off! Our concert was at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. It started to seemed like it was taking so long to get there. Traffic was horrific, and it seemed like we were always making little pit stops. There was a car crash, so all off the traffic was backed up. We, our usual selves, became very antsy. We started to wave at every car that passed us. That’s when we met Julia. Julia looked like our age, and Brooklynn and I started talking to her out of the window. She also was going to the Justin Bieber concert. I sort of felt bad, because her seats were at the very top of the stadium. I’m sure it was hard for her too see.
Thumbs Out A girlfriend of mine once defended me to her father by saying, calmly, “Not everyone who wanders is lost.” The dad kicked me out of the house anyway. But the damage had been done. Not everyone who wanders is lost.
At the young age of just twenty-four, singer/songwriter Taylor Swift has already made her mark on the world. With four platinum records, several hit singles, and seven Grammy Awards, the young songwriter has been a source of both entertainment and inspiration for people of all ages. Unlike other artists, Taylor Swift is completely fearless with her songwriting. Whether she’s singing about her first day of school, falling in love, or breaking up with a boyfriend, Swift always shares intimate details about her personal life in her lyrics. Many people love this quality about her, but others think Swift gives women a bad reputation by appearing to be a flawless and blameless victim in her songs. Regardless of the negative thoughts some people have about her, Taylor Swift is undoubtedly a huge success and a role model for teenage girls all over the world.
It was just another day of my life. The fourth ring of my alarm woke me up. As usual, I was not feeling to go in school. I slept a couple of more minutes. After while, the shine of the sun coming from the window woke me up.I slowly stretched my arms and slid out of bed. I brushed my teeth and took the shower. Downstair,my mother was calling me for breakfast.I was still undecided what should wear for school. After browsing for while I found something to wear, and finished getting myself ready for school. When I checked the clock, I was running late as usual, which was not a surprised. I quickly ate my half sandwich and left the rest of the sandwich on the table.I took my car key, jump in my black Lexus and made my way to school.During my way to school, I got a call from my friend John. John is my best friend since when we were in middle school. He told me that his car was broke down and he needed to ride to school. Fortunately, my friend house on my school way. I told my friend. So one day after school my older brother took me to the gym. After I changed into my gym clothes in the locker room, I sat nervous on the patted mat by the rock climbing tower/boulder waiting for the instructor to walk in and other students to show up. After a few minutes the instructor walked in. She smiled really big, so big that I saw t...
I jumped out of the car with my two sisters and ran to the bathroom. When we left the bathroom, we walked back to the car. We saw that our dad was still putting gas in the car, so we went into the store to buy some sweets. I bought “warheads” that said extremely sour, and a bag of chips called “baked with fire” that looked like they would taste really hot. When we purchased our food, we walked back to the car. As soon as we started driving, I opened my bag of chips. I was so scared that they would be extremely hot. For that reason, I also bought a bottle of water. I opened it before I took a bite out of the chip. Luckily, they were not hot at all! I grabbed my sour candy and tasted it. My face changed so quickly; that I started to squint my eyes and point my lips. I could not take another bite of it because it was really sour! Eventually, I was not hungry anymore. Probably because I ate my whole bag of chips and a sandwich. When I finished eating, I was feeling exhausted, so I took a long nap. I woke up, and dad told me that we only needed to drive for one more hour. While we were driving through town, we saw a row of trees on fire! It was so smoky that we could barely see the street we were driving on. I felt scared for life and terrified that we might crash. After a few more minutes of driving, the smoke cleared up and we could see again. Finally, the hour passed and we arrived in California. Mrs.
