Punctual,dependable, reliable, expeditious, cyclic. All of these words have something very important in common. They all mean the same thing, being on time. In many settings being on time is exceedingly important, be it a classroom, in a career setting, or simply being on time for public transportation. In some career fields, being on time is more essential than others. For instance, the medical and legal fields tend to place more stock in timeliness than say, a grocery store. This is because time is a resource, and above all, one we cannot reclaim once it is lost. In this regard one could say that time is non-renewable which is why it is placed above many other resources. If an incident occurs once, generally the extra work placed on co-workers is taken in stride and laughed off. On the second occurrence, it is received in a less positive manner, but is still fairly easy to shrug off and continue on with the day. By the time that a third incident happens, it begins to create a negative attitude in the workplace. I have personally heard co-workers say “If they don’t have to pull their weight, then why should I?” This statement goes back to productivity, if an employee feels as though they are being treated in an unjust manner, they will often show it in the quality of their work. As a result, if an employee feels as though they should be entitled to pull as little weight as their co-worker, this can create a domino effect that bogs down an entire workplace and creates a negative attitude throughout, This results in a less productive work environment because other employees are less likely to be willing to work with the tardy employee in a team setting. Students are deprived from there leaning do to the tardy policy. A policy that is unfair this tardy policy makes students serve a 30 min detention if there even a second late to class and after multiple absences or tardies you can face legal consequences. There's many reasons why students may be late for example students need to take the city buss, bikes ,cars to school but there's always traffic so sometimes it's not the students fault , students shouldn't be given a 30 minute detention for being a couple of minutes late.
Throughout the United States, students tend to complain about how early school starts in the morning. A few schools in the U.S. are beginning to move their start times later in the morning. However, not everyone is on the same side of these decisions. Some say that later school start times will have benefits on student performance and student health. Others say that later school start times would have negative affects on what time school will end and the schedules of the community. What times schools start is a very controversial topic.
The importance of being on time in the military (or anywhere at all), is simply a symptom of discipline, which was instilled in new enlisted soldiers during basic training. Being on time shows reliability. We have to show discipline, responsibility, show care through following military rules and regulations. Being on time not only pertains to accountability, but shows respect to our fellow soldiers, our unit, command and organization as a whole. Being on time also will avoid any disciplinary actions that may hinder you from reaching your goals. Being on time may have a greater importance and effect, than we may know. Being on time enables us to be able to trust and rely on each other in life and death situations. Last but not least, it shows that we will be able and ready to capitalize on our capabilities to complete our missions. It is not acceptable to be late (except when involving safety limitations), because missions and operations are interlocking pieces that must function together as a whole in order for it to work in a timely manner. All successful and respective people all have one common attribute, and this is knowing and exhibiting the importance of being on time.

It is very important to be on time because accountability is everything. I suppose no one is ever late but if they are typing an essay will make them never late again. But on topic being on time shows that you are trust worthy and you can be depended upon. If we were actually deployed in a combat zone you would only want people by your side that you trust. You want to be on time because if you’re late it can mess up people’s schedules. If you show up late it makes people think that you don’t care about your career and that you are just shamming to get by. How much difference can time make when you need to get your daughter to school? Or when you need to get your son to the doctor because he hurt himself? In every aspect of my life, time is everything. Time management is very important, especially for working adults that have families and are attending school. When I returned to school, I had a plan in place. Part of that plan was not to be a procrastinator which is something that I am so good at. But, I am slowly learning that when my time is managed correctly, I can not only take my time but, I can accomplish more.

Admissions Essay A topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. The topic that I find so engaging is soccer and my love for playing the sport. I can get so caught up in it that 2 hours does not even feel like one. Even though I am sweating and working really hard to get better.
