Training organisations are required to keep multiple records such as performance information, health and safety and financial information which could be subject to OFSTED’s inspections.

These are listed below:

• If lessons are carried out with the Centre a copy of a register or attendance record will need to be available. This is registered electronically by using a registration application called Simple In/Out which provides clear and immediate reports which can be tracked and monitored by the Client Services Management team. This record is managed and send through by a lead tutor who monitors all tests been booked at any Centre. In line with this, invigilation training ensures awarding body requirements are meet.
• Feedback forms and Exit review records will need to be completed with learners as per the delivery model agreed. Furthermore, assessors have completed an Information, Advice and Guidance award to support learner’s needs and to be able to provide the best support and advice to their learners. Through the internal quality assurance process reviews and feedback given to learners is checked regularly which minimises any potenti.al issues and supports the development and welfare for all our learners.
• Health and Safety checks will need to be in place as with any other organisation to ensure the Centre meets all minimum requirements to deliver sessions. These are the office managers responsibility however all assessors, IQA’s and learners have the responsibility to follow the H& S rules to which they have been instructed during the Inductions to the programme. It is the responsibility of the employer to provide a safe working environment, however it is also the responsibility of the employee to maintain and ensure the safety of themselves and their colleagues by not putting anyone in danger. The employer will also be responsible of carrying out relevant risks assessments and to ensure employees are well inducted and trained in case of an emergency.
