My group previously visited the Sheraton Hotel for our first interview with the front desk manager and it went very well. We decided to keep with the same hotel for our next interview, but due to a last-minute cancellation from the housekeeping manager we were not able to complete the interview. Due to this situation, I will be talking about a whole different hotel - G6 Hospitality. The name G6 Hospitality refers to the hotel brands – Motel 6 and Studio 6. Next, the host welcomes him whole-heartedly and lays all that he owns at Gawain's disposal. He also sends a servant to see to Gawain's needs, makes sure he slips into something more comfortable, rests and eats.
Bed and Breakfasts were almost nonexistent and operated in a small scale compared to hotel and motels. Over the last three years they have become well known by the general population for their unique and distinct services that they offer to their guests in comparison to other traditional hotel and motel accommodations. There is an absolute difference between a 5 star hotel and a 3 star hotel. In which, people tend to see a 5 star hotel as the better, more luxurious, modern, state of the art and has more advanced facilities available, whereas a 3 star hotel would be a standard, convenient, hotel where standard quality and service are provided. The frontal office of large hotels mostly uses a computerized system to manage the guest information and pass it to other departments in the hotel. The frontal office is made up of a team of people with each person having various responsibilities in handling the guests. For the small hotels front office, the reception desk may not be computerized and mostly the reception area handles all the guest information and also carries out other tasks such as showing guest to their rooms.
